My grandfather drove the eagle off and brought the lead goose home to tend to its wounds. Soon, the goose's mate joined it, and my grandfather, hunter of wild geese, found himself with two new companions...

These are really excellent reading practice but the plots always leave a bit to be desired! This was the last one of the level 2 books I'd not read. It was a rather dull story about a village that hunted geese, then had two as pets. But still nice very good practice.

a cute and sweet story about a family that hunts geese, and then saves and cares for a terribly wounded one. I expected it to be a bit boring, from other review, but I rather liked this one-- better than "Secrets of a Computer Company"!
