The journey to rescue his sister, started in the previous mission, continues as Track learns that she likely has been brainwashed and blames him for deaths he was not involved in. Nevertheless, he continues to track her, taking him into Afghanistan.

Track is in Russia searching for his sister and brother in law that were suppose to be dead for ten years. Unknown to him, George his nephew is also looking for his mother. Desiree Goth, Tracks arms selling girlfriend and her servant, Zulu also join in on the fun. What they find is a brain washing operation set up by the KGB. Empaths are being used to try to destroy American nuclear missiles in there silos. This was a nice shift from the men's action books.
The action never lets up through-out. We start of in the Hindu Kush mountain range. Then shifts to Alma Ata, the research facility in Russia. Once inside, Track comes face to face with a loved one that has become a mindless programmed killing machine. This series still keeps getting better and better with each book.
