-1 star Some important aspects of the book are not believable (e.g. after a certain point, the lack of a serious police response; pool balls?#@! really?#@!)
+1/2 star Brandon is very good at writing suspenseful scenes. He is also very good at analogies in descriptions.

Brandon, Jay - 1st book
Years ago, defense attorney Grey Stanton failed to get his client acquitted of robbery, and now the robber is back on the streets, determined to take revenge on Stanton, whom he believes took his stashed money.
Not much of a story here. Boring.

The suspense had my heart racing! Most suspenseful 213 pages I have read in a long time! Highly recommend.
