Hayatımızda bazı anlar çok ama çok önemlidir. Sadece bir saniye farkla bile pek çok şey değişebilir hayatımızda.
Biz beş saniye sonrası olacaklardan habersiz olarak, beş yıllık kalkınma planları yapıp hayaller kurarken, hayatın bize şaşırtan sürprizleri olabilir.

Romanın konusu , yolları metroda kesişen kişilerin “on dokuz saniye”si!

Beğenerek ve merakla okudum kitabı. Tavsiye edilebilecek farklı hikayelerden biri oldu benim için.

I have to admit, this was not what I first expected it to be. I thought it a mere love story between Sandrine and Gabriel and I was prepared for the two of them to either break up or get back together. Yet, as I read along I discovered the different perspectives and met a whole new set of characters, some I liked and some not so much. I really liked the writing style and although the turn of events seemed pretty obvious to me, I did very much enjoy it. It made me connect a bit with some of the characters even though it was a really short novel.
All in all, this book surprised me in a very good way and I'm glad I picked it up.

Dix-neuf secondes s'égrainent inexorablement entre l'entrée en gare de la rame Zeus , l'ouverture et la fermeture des portes, nous sommes à Nation, dans le RER sur le quai direction Gare du Nord . Il est 17h45.
Gabriel s'est assis face à la dernière porte du troisième wagon. Il a RDV avec Sandrine Viendra t'elle? Rien n'est moins sur. Les portes s'ouvrent ... les secondes s'écoulent, un homme en blouson jaune semble occuper tout l'espace , descendra t'il de la rame ?
Gabriel attend Sandrine, Sophie court ,court pour attraper son train, Emmanuel va à la fac donner un cours, Gilbert imagine la brune qui le fera chavirer .
Gabriel attend Sandrine, les secondes s'égrainent...

Ce roman est étonnant, je dirais même détonnant si j'osais. J'ai été happée dès les premiers mots, les images enfouies dans ma mémoire ont refait surface bien sur .
Ce roman a reçu à juste titre le Prix du roman Fnac en 2003.

Etkileyici, ilginç ve alışılmışın dışında hikayesi olan ve alkış sunan bir kitap. Kitabı alırken 19 saniyede geçen bir kesit sunması beni heyecanlandırmıştı ama sonunda beni bu kadar etkileyeceğini düşünmemiştim.

Aynı vagona denk gelen bir grup insanın hikayelerine ve hayatlarının son 19 saniyesinde neler düşündüklerine tanık oluyoruz.

İstanbul gibi terör olaylarının çok sık yaşandığı ve çok sık metro ya da toplu taşıma aracı kullanmama sebep olan bir şehirde yaşarken bu kitabı okumak beni sonlarına doğru rahatsız etse de etkileyici bulduğum bir kitap oldu.

Olay kurgusu acayip akıcı, dili çok yalın, okuması çok kolay bir kitap; bi iki saate bitirdim👍🏻👍🏻 genel olarak kurgusunun derinliğinin olmamasına rağmen altını çizdiğim birçok yer oldu. şiddetle çerezlik kitap olarak önerilir🙏🏻

The reason I took "Dix-Neuf secondes" from the library was to stretch my French muscles. Not only did it freshen up my French, it provided a surprisingly engrossing read too.

I have no idea how to exactly describe "Dix-neuf secondes". I think another reader called it a Hollywood disaster movie. A very apt description for this fast-paced short story.

It's gripping enough, with just enough drama and a bit of horror towards the end to make you shiver, if only for a few seconds.
