I love Jessica Zafra's writing style for it is approachable, witty, and funny. This book was exactly like that, however, I think the inclusion of gadgets reviews in this collection of her column entries was a poor decision. They wouldn't make sense 5 or 10 years from now since gadgets and technology can easily go obsolete. You want a book that people will find relatable even 10 years from now.

Moving forward, I really enjoyed her entries about how technology has greatly advanced, like our move from cassette tapes to CDs, to iPods, and now to downloading our music online.

Great. I didn't know Jessica (wow first name basis, we're close) used to write tech reviews. Aside from writing about her MacBook, cameras, and external hard drives, she reviews coffeemakers, e-book readers, and nose hair trimmers. I'm not even kidding. Anyway, it's so weird to read this book in 2016, when the grandeur of Google and 1TB hard drives is now considered mundane.
