While the Rhodan team's push into Andromeda experiences setbacks with every weekly entry, resulting in a sort of "hurdle of the week" experience for the reader, each Silver Volume offers up at least one highlight that makes up for the the sometimes-slow-moving overarching plot. In this volume, the highlight arrives in the form of the eponymous Para-Sprinters, the Woolver twins--two mutants on Atlan's squad of covert agents.

They can travel from one point to another--not as teleporters, but along streams of energy. So they can fly along radio waves or electrical wiring effortlessly, giving them access to hard-to-reach behind-the-lines locations. Unfortunately, they can't predict where an outlet or radio receiver may deliver them, which means they could end up in the hands of the enemy. Interesting addition to the Mutant Corps.

This is a neat concept, and the Woolvers get used a lot during the course of this cycle.

This volume gathers PERRY RHODAN hefte originally numbered 224 through 233.
