Too much chat, too little science. The approach is not goal oriented, in it's super simplicity I tend to lose comprehension. Too much chewing the same message over and over. I would have like to see more strict disciplined way to really make sustainable difference in life. There is never too much of confidence, this book is not helping with that much. Many more good books out on the market on this topic.

Love love love this book.
It is as is Paul has been inside my head and exposed all my fears and insecurities gently challenging me to reassess and build my confidence.
Lots of handy tips and practical, doable advice (not taking off all your clothes...!) all served with a dose of humour and humility. Thank you. I will review again and again as I am sure I would benefit as there is so much packed into it.
So good that I finished in 2 days.

It primarily gives pointers that we all know. However, if one is struggling with low self confidence it has good questions, at the end of each segment, that one could use to assess and improvise oneself. I have given it two stars as the book did not strike a cord with me even though it gives valid points. I blame it on the writing style and I felt it was a bit didactic in some parts.

HR Course

Listen to this instead of going to the HR training course. Info and wording is now very outdated - references women having attitude/emotional problems because they are hormonal.
Didn't learn anything new - don't waste your money.

I'm a bit mean giving this book 3 stars- really it should be 3.8. I bought this book whilst waiting for a connecting train to Weston-super-Mare. I promised myself I wouldn't buy another book and then I did, but I was glad I did.
I have given out this book in my classes for the past year and so many people have taken it home to read and commented how helpful they found it. Written by a UK writer it has lots of simple to understand and use ideas and lots of diagrams. Very friendly and approachable and not quite as loud in style as a US book.
Worth every penny of the £9.99 I spent when I didn't want to.

I wouldn't say that there was anything ground-breaking in this book but it was decent nonetheless. There were a handful of tips and tricks to help build yourself up and some coping techniques for when you feel your confidence getting knocked a bit but I wouldn't recommend it to anyone who has read other books on the subject because I think others have handled a bit better.

I wasn't exactly enthusiastic about the pitstops section but I love the quotes and the 'in a nutshell' sections. I pretty much agree with his tips on how to be more confident in public speaking. As for dating, I don't think it's relevant.

it is a simple and brief book about self confidence full of quotes and stories and I honestly expected more however I think Recovery takes time, and about " small change can make a big difference" only the graph at page no16 could convinced me . 3 stars for the quotes .

There are some good points in this book, but you find them in many other books too. So, it really depends what you have read before if you find this book valuable or not.
