David Mamet in Conversation
Contemporary playwright David Mamet's thought-provoking plays and screenplays such as Wag the Dog , Glengarry Glen Ross (for which he won the Pulitzer Prize), and Oleanna have enjoyed popular and critical success in the past two decades. Mamet in Conversation collects interviews with the playwright that offer readers insight into his life in the theater, his artistic vision, and the evolution of his craft. Muy interesante leer a Mamet opinar sobre Harold Pinter, escenografía, escritura teatral vs escritura cinematográfica, ritmo, tragedias, bajos fondos, tradición judía y demás. Se ve que cada respuesta que da está medida al detalle, existe un discurso bien pensado en todo lo que dice o, mejor dicho, permite que se sepa de él y su modo de pensar.
Muy mal que no haya como seis o siete entrevistas que se focalicen exclusivamente en esa obra maestra que era La Cortina De Humo.
