My name is Alessia, and I write about sex. Sometimes it's pretty sex. Sometimes it's... not. I write about sex because I'm sick of preachy people using it to control others by turning it into something shameful. Sex is a crucible. It's a prayer, a celebration, an affirmation, and a motivation.

** If you are interested in reviewing any of my publications, I would be happy to email a copy to your Kindle address. Since it's likely a Goodreads message will get lost amongst the group message traffic, please email me directly at alessia.brio [at] gmail.com if interested. Thanks! **

Here's the obligatory 3rd person promo bio:

Take one part Appalachian redneck, one part aging wet dream, and one part filthy-minded wordsmith. Mix well and serve with chocolate-covered cherries. There you have the one and only Alessia Brio. Alessia writes all colors and flavors of erotica, from heterosexual to ménage to same sex, and from twisted to humorous to deeply touching. Her work has earned her critical acclaim in the form of an EPIC eBook Award for Best Erotica (fine flickering hungers), two EPIC eBook Awards for Best Erotica Anthology (Coming Together: Against the Odds & Coming Together: Into the Light), two Next Generation Indie Book Awards for Best Erotica (Coming Together: For the Cure & Squeeze Play with Will Belegon), and a Romantic Times Top Pick (Coming Together: For the Cure) in addition to a plethora of glowing online reviews.

This is a free short. At first I was thinking the MC was just a selfish bitch but I liked her anyway. And then the I just loved it and for a free short story I can’t not give five stars for that ending

This short story gave me hope of some good sexual tension being relieved by reading about some great sex. The problem was at the very end of the book I come to find out there was not going to be any good sexual descriptions coming and I’m not going to spoil why for anybody else.

Everyone knows that men often have emotional bonds with their cars. After all, they make or reinforce what they are. They define and expose his manhood to the world; they make him a macho man. This sort of relationship is known and accepted and even sometimes expected but the relationship between Chloe and Jake transcends the expected and accepted into the realms of weird and pitiful. Men with their blowup dolls also fall in these categories. Chloe has to go on a trip but Jake must stay at home. This doesn’t seem logical to me but so goes the story. After a couple of days apart she is almost out of her mind to get home to her one true supporter and comforter, Jake. This story may ruffle some feathers or offend the easily offended, it may bring a smile to some or a gut ripping laugh to others but one thing is sure, this short literary interlude won’t easily be forgotten.
