April 24, 2018This is an interesting overview of the world of Crime Scene Investigation. It has some nice pictures. Some of the text was hard to read because of the background chosen. I would debate many of the "truths" set forth in this book; however, it is strongly English, so the stuff on what is true in the States is not always accurate. It seems more dated than only 10 years.

Re-reading this as an adult makes me realize how dated this is in several ways, but nonetheless, it’s an interesting field of study, and lots of good information is featured in detail.

This book gives you an over-all summary of criminal investigation but without going into the finer details. I liked it, but I thought that there could have been more in-depth information about the different subjects.

Reading Sections were short paragraphs with nice sidebars and many interesting photos and real life story's. Some inaccuracies in the final chapters dealing with history of fingerprinting. Overall a good read.

This book was alright. I thought that it was lacking a little detail, at least for my taste. It was good for an overall view of forensics and how people attempt to solve crimes.

A very informative graphic-driven book... a useful tool of research for my story writing process. Love it!
