[Hide-and-go-seek] – [Duck, Duck, Goose] – [Red Rover, Red Rover]. These were just a few childhood games that we used to play. As you can see, the names of the games sound so innocent; however, the devil found a way to turn one of those games into a horrible nightmare. “The Devil Can’t Kill What God is Keeping Alive” depicts the adventure of a young boy who grew up in a small country town surrounded by family and friends, but yet and still had his innocence stripped from him, without his permission. This young boy was me. No one knew, but at an early age I suffered sexual, mental and verbal abuse. The devil planted a seed and set the trap that would later cause me to have to fight for my life, both naturally and spiritually. Let me encourage that young boy or that young girl that has been sexually assaulted. First of all, it was NOT your fault. You did nothing wrong. The devil got a glimpse of your future and is doing all he can to cause you to get off course and abort the purpose and plan of God for your life. As you read his book, my prayer is that you too will find deliverance just like I did. Yes, the weapons were formed, but they did not prosper. Open up your heart. Allow God to mold you and make you. Release the hurt! Release the anger! For whom the Son sets FREE, is free indeed. The devil tried to kill me, but I’m still here because I recognize that it’s not over until God says it’s over!
