I absolutely loved Ripley’s Believe It or Not as a kid, but they don’t hold up as well as an adult. Still great books for their target demographic, but they’re a bit too “jumpy” for me now. I would prefer less facts with more information. Also, they get a bit repetitive, with some people performing similar feats. It’s clearly meant to be more of a coffee table book, with people flipping to random pages and browsing, as opposed to reading it straight through. Even giving myself a month I got bored at times. They’re wonderful for holding the attention span of kids though!

I enjoyed this book (as I do with all Ripley's Believe it or not books) and I enjoyed all the 'Incredible Strange' stuff in here. I can't remember if there was anything inappropriate in this one. I don't think there was, but I am not 100%.
