Justin Flynn, a blue-collar Irish Catholic living in the Bronx, arrives late for his own wedding to a beautiful Italian immigrant, Manda. After a brawl at the ceremony and a painfully emotionless and uncommunicative marriage, it is clear that Justin is arriving late to maturity. But once he has a few affairs, gets a good job, loses the job, loses his wife, gets another, not-so-good job, and confronts his past, the possibility arises that Justin Flynn just might grow up after all.
