Currently a #1 Amazon New Release title!

Ahhh, I loved this book! It is mystery and romance all in one. I was impressed by both the writing and the pacing, but it's the characters that I love most. The point of view alternated between Ava and Zack, and their chemistry was SO. GOOD. All of the side characters—from the Langston sisters to Zack's brothers to the brand employees and the suspects—felt very fleshed out, and the author gave us several viable suspects (with a great twist at the climax!) And the humor was fantastic. Just saying! ;)

*Spoilers in next paragraph!*
The only concern I have is a logistical one...I think any normal person would've mentioned seeing someone as important as on the scene of the crime (not specifying which crime), if not sooner, then definitely later, but Ava did not. That person had all the right reasons and means to commit a murder, even if not everything was revealed until the very end, and yet our main character never had a second thought about them. There's no way any thirty-nine-year-old business leader could ever be that naive.

Still, the twist was really good. I didn't figure it out until a chapter before Zack does, and overall, I'm very satisfied how the mystery played out and how the climax was written. I would definitely recommend this book to any and all interested readers; Natasha D. Frazier has talent, and she is an author to watch out for!

Please note that I received a complimentary copy of this book from the author. All thoughts and opinions expressed are completely my own, and I was not required to leave a positive review.

The protagonist of the second book of Natasha D. Frazier's The Langston Sisters is Ava, a high-powered executive for her family's luxury handbag company, Langston Brands. She's got the opportunity to help the company improve its standing in the public eye (since the disasters it experienced in the first book of the series, The Reunion (A Contemporary Romantic Suspense Novel). A department store company is considering carrying the handbags in their stores, which would be a big coup and help the brand strengthen and improve. There's just a huge rumor Ava has to extinguish first. (In addition to somehow discovering the sender of the threatening notes she's begun to receive.)

Fortunately for Ava, her father, concerned about the threats his daughter's been receiving, has hired a bodyguard, Zack, to keep an eye out for her. He's perhaps the only reason she survived the attack in a parking lot, and made it to the hospital in time.

Ava and Zack can definitely feel sparks between them. But to truly explore them, Ava has got to stay alive. Before them and the company is overseas travel, making a wrong right, and more danger. Clean romance, a roller coaster of a thriller, and a protagonist you'll admire and root for. Don't miss this great thriller!

I don't think I've had the privilege of reading any book by this author before. I always enjoy a good suspense novel, and I really enjoyed this one.

This is the 2nd book in the series, and I think I would've enjoyed this book even more if I'd taken the time to read the first one before starting this one. But I think this one can stand on it's own very well.

The Langston sisters are great (maybe just a bit too beautiful to make the story feel entirely realistic) and I liked seeing them interact, and getting to know each one of them. This book is primarily Ava's story, and it starts with someone trying to poison her, and possibly kill her.

What is going on? Who could possibly have something against them?

Zack is your typical bodyguard - tall, dark, and handsome. (maybe too handsome?! ;) ) His job is to protect Ava, but normally he tries to keep strict boundaries in place when he's on the job. Only this time...well, he finds it extremely difficult to keep those.

Action, adventure, danger, and lots more...if you are looking for a good suspense novel, you won't want to miss "The Wrong Seat".

The Wrong Seat takes us back to the Langston family, and Langston Brands in particular. Crystal is back at the helm, but the clean up from the fallout in book one isn’t going as smoothly as the family would like, so Ava steps in to help get the handbag company back in the green. The problem is there are allegations that their production center in Cambodia is a literal sweatshop, something that Ava hopes to prove as false while she tries to secure one of the biggest deals in the company’s history. Oh, and did I mention that someone is also trying to kill her while she’s trying to get all of this business drama figured out? Talk about a stressful situation!

Zack, and his brother’s company The Four Kings, is hired to keep an eye on the Langston sisters while they find out where the threats are coming from. Zack lost his wife a few years prior and it is with her that his heart still lies, which is why it is jarring when Zack and Ava share a spark of attraction with one another. As Zack protects Ava their friendship organically grows, and I am here for it! I love when I see characters that are so natural together and share such a great bond from the beginning. Both Zack and Ava are such good souls, and I love that they share their faith by living what they believe, making this aspect natural to the characters, and not at all forced.

The Wrong Seat is hands down my favorite novel in this series so far. It truly felt like this is a situation that could actually happen, which is terrifying when you think about it. Though this is part of a series you do not have to read the first book to understand what is going on. Each novel is its own unique story for that particular sister, but to get the entire picture of the Langston sisters I recommend reading the first novel as well. I love the mystery behind the threats, the unspoken tension emanating from the situation, and was actually a little taken aback when it’s revealed who the perpetrator is. Who doesn’t love a fun little twist at the end?

I can’t wait to see what Layla’s story is going to entail, as she is my favorite of the Langston sisters, and see what the author has up her sleeve for the last book of the series. The Wrong Seat was a quick and engaging read that I highly recommend.

I always like reading Christian Romance. Add in some Suspense and it gets really interesting to read. The Wrong Seat is Book 2 in The Langston Sister series.

Ava Langston is trying to save the Family Business after her sister Crystal was Arrested. Crystal's arrest has tarnished the Family Business and Ava has a lot of work ahead of her. Ava is currently working on securing the BIGGEST Deal in the Company's History. She becomes the target of some attacks and her Father is worried for her Safety. Her Dad hires a well-known Security Company to protect Ava. Zack Kingsland hasn't done Security work for 5 yrs, but he agrees to take this job. The last job he did ended up ruining his marriage and he is now divorced. Zack knows he has been hired to protect Ava, but he also goes into the job hopeful that he won't have feelings for Ava and be able to concentrate on his job. Will Ava secure the BIGGEST Deal in the history of the Family Business? Will Zack have strong feelings for Ava and will he act upon those feelings?

I really enjoyed this book. It did start a little slow, probably because it is book 2 and I had not read Book 1 in this series. Once I got into the Storyline, I couldn't put the book down. Ava is a wonderful character and I LOVE her gumption for keeping the Family Business going. Zack is an AMAZING character and probably my favorite character in the book. I LOVE how Zack realizes that he shouldn't mix Work and Personal things, but sometimes the inevitable happens. Natasha D. Frazier has a great style of writing that as a reader it was wonderful to be drawn into the book. I really like how the author bought Faith into the storyline, a good character for any relationship. FANTASTIC BOOK!

I would like to begin my review by saying The Wrong Seat is book two in the Langston Sisters series. Written by Natasha D. Frazier. Natasha D. Frazier is not an Author I had heard of before I received The Wrong Seat. Now that I’ve had a chance to read this book it will not be my last time to read her writing.

I would like to purchase the first book which you do not need to read to understand the second book. Although there are references to the first book in this novel. I did not have any issues following along. I like that the lady works in her family’s handbag business. I believe that could be a fun job. Wouldn’t you like to work here as well?

Then come’s Zach who is hired by her father to protect her. Reminding me of the Bodyguard and yes, I would like to have Bodyguard or two if they looked like Zach. If you like Romance, you will enjoy this novel but if it isn’t your cup of tea then there is plenty of suspense to keep you on the edge of your seat. My question is what more could you want than romance and suspense thrown in together?

Don’t forget there is mystery as well inside The Wrong Seat which will keep you wondering who was sending the threats to the dad’s family and why. If the Author was given the opportunity to turn into a mystery show on Hallmark Dramas. I know my sister and I will watch this movie especially if the actor playing the part looks like Zach on the cover of the book.

Ava is the middle Langston daughter and director of marketing and sales for her family’s handbag business. Zach Kingsland is partners with his brothers in The Four Kings, a private security firm. When a threat is received on Ava’s life, her father hires Zach to protect her. What none of them count on is the crazy level of chemistry between Ava and her bodyguard.

When protecting the company means traveling together, their attraction grows and a revelation about Zach’s past further complicates the personal and professional tangle of their relationship. With danger lurking, this is a story heavy on the suspense while being equally an appealing contemporary romance between two strong characters.

Second in the Langston Sisters series, The Wrong Seat does include references to the first book but can be read out of order if that is not something that deters you. This was a quick read with a suspense storyline that kept me guessing and romantic tension that had me rooting for Ava and Zach to resolve the fears and issues that stand between them. I enjoyed how family oriented this story was and that the faith portrayed was simply how they lived and prayed.

This was my first book by Natasha D. Frazier and I doubt it will be my last. 3.5 stars

The Wrong Seat is part of a series and you’re going to want to read the series in order so that you can get the most from this book! I had the pleasure of reading the first book in this series so I was able to pick up where I left off with this one. If you haven’t read book one yet I highly recommend you grab a copy of it and read it first.

This book focuses on Ava. Her family has their own business. In this book, Ava is threatened so her father hires security to protect her. Zach is Ava’s bodyguard. At first, it doesn’t look like he really has a job to do, but as things speed up and the mystery gets going he has a full-time job staying ahead of the danger and protecting Ava. As everything goes on they grow closer as well.

This is a fun mystery with a dash or two of romance thrown in as well. It’s a great read. Not highly suspenseful but also not a book you’re going to want to read if you’re already stressed as you’ll start looking over your shoulder.

The Wrong Seat is book two in the Langston Sisters series that is written by Natasha D. Frazier. I have not read the first book, but I did not have any issues following along. This is the first book that I have read by this author, and it will not be my last.

Ava is trying to save her family’s business after all goes awry when Crystal (book one) is arrested. She is trying to restore the business reputation. There are so many ongoing threats to Ava that her father has to hire a security team to keep her safe. Zack Kingsland takes the job, he does so reluctantly. It's been awhile since he was out in the field. He has some baggage from the past. This could get in the way of being to do his job professionally. I enjoyed seeing their attraction grow throughout the story. They are both well written characters who have some flaws.

There was a lot of action and suspense in this book. I was drawn in immediately to the story. I will be going back to read book one so that I can get the full picture. Thank you to the author, publisher and JustRead Publicity Tours for allowing me to read a copy of this book - all thoughts are my own,.

Ava Langston has the middle child issues, and is continually trying to prove herself to her family while working in the family business. But there is someone out to get her. The Head of the family, Mr. Langston. decides to hire a firm to keep all the girls, but mostly Ava safe until they find out who is out to destroy the family business.

Zach has his demons, and is determined to not fall in love with Ava, but it fails. The two are able to keep it professional, but a misunderstanding could destroy what they want to eventually build.

This is one of my favorites in this genre and I absolutely loved this book. It was a ride and I was not able to figure it out until near the end. Although it doesn't bother me, it's also not too preachy. I was drawn from the first word, and could not put it down until the very end. Although it's part of a series, its a stand alone. I can't wait for the final book in the series.

I received a copy of the book via Just Read Tours and am voluntarily leaving an honest review of my own thoughts and opinions.

This was a good romantic suspense from Natasha Frazier. I haven’t read a book by her and so I wasn’t sure what to expect. I thought the story was very well written. My attention was grabbed from the first page and the story kept me engaged until the end of the book when we finally discover who was behind the attacks on Ava. I liked the characters and I liked seeing Zack heal from the guilt of his wife’s death as he built a relationship with Ava. I liked that Zack and Ava were willing to open themselves up to love even in a tense situation. I liked the suspense in the story and that we weren’t sure who was behind it until the end. I would be interested in reading more books by this author.

I received a complimentary book from publishers, publicists, and or authors.  A review was not required and all opinions and ideas expressed are my own.

The Wrong Seat is a romantic suspense novel about a VP of Marketing and Sales in her family’s company being poisoned and needing protection until it is solved.

Ava is the youngest sister in the Langston family and the VP of Marketing in Sales in the family business. Someone is after her and the family is on high alert to make sure they don't succeed in taking her out. Her father hires a security firm to watch over the family since they are under attack.

Zack is assigned to watch over Ava and of course the sparks do fly between them. He has some baggage but doesn't everyone.

When the reveal happened in this story I was caught off guard and didn't suspect the person at all. I enjoyed and can't wait to book three is available.

My thoughts: While I didn't read Crystal's (the oldest Langston sister) story, I was still able to enjoy this mystery and the introduction to their family's business of making quality purses. After receiving threats towards his family and company, Ava's father has hired body guards to keep an eye on his daughters. While Zack doesn't first see a need for his presence, he and Ava are soon thrown into trying to stay one step ahead of disaster. The mystery kept me guessing, and I loved the glimpse into a family business in the fashion industry. This is a wonderful mystery to pick up and enjoy!

The Wrong Seat is book two in The Langston Sisters series but can be read as a standalone.

We meet Ava as someone is trying to kill her. Zach has been hired by her father as her bodyguard.

The chemistry between Zack and Ava was evident from the start and I appreciated his attempts to keep things professional because he wanted to be able to do his job effectively. Still, it was nice seeing the effect Ava had on him.

Ava struggled with her growing feelings about Zack, the man who was being paid to be with her. Zack's job as her bodyguard was a barrier between but it also brought them together. Ms. Frazier did a good job of writing the tension between these characters.

The mystery of Ava’s enemy and the continued attempts against her life add an element of suspense to this novel.

The Wrong Seat will remind readers that love is worth fighting for.

I received an advanced reader's copy from the publisher through Just Read Tours; a positive review was not required.

The Right Seat

I loved this book. Ava and Zach were made for each other. Natasha gave a complete love story of two people who needed each other. It was full of suspense and I couldn't wait to see what happened next to each character. I can't wait for the next book to come out about the last sister.

The Right Wrong Seat

This is a good who done it with a happy ending or should I say a good start. The chemistry between the 2 was immediate. His need to protect her and protect his heart was a conflict on its own that made it all so complicated. It's the middle child for me. It's a light and easy read you don't want to miss.

Ava

I mean, it's a given that Ava and Zach would wind up together. The only question is when.
This book read just like the first book in the series, the only differences being the characters and the scenario. Not sure if I'll read part 3; these stories are pretty predictable and the wishy-washy romance is too repetitive.

Enjoyed…

I enjoyed reading about the middle Langston sister, Ava’s story. I liked her and Zack as a couple. Zack needed to overcome some things before being able to fully embrace them being together. I loved the sisterly bond portrayed in the story as well.

A real good mystery. I picked some folks as likely suspects and just missed all the clues until close to the end. There are many potential but who is really guilty. I never trusted Rick from Book 1. Sure don’t like him in Book 2. Who did it and why? Who has it out for the Langston sister and why is includes the wife?

Wrong Seat ..Right Approach

“The Wrong Seat” The Langston Sisters book 2 a suspense contemporary romance novel was a good read. Similar to book one, the protagonist was obvious. However, the motivations & mitigating circumstances become convoluted throughout the book. …I enjoyed both the characters and their journey. Thereafter, I truly appreciate Ms Frazier’s character/plot development & writing style thus far. I applaud your literary works I’ve read to date…and more so, I’m equally eager to share my book recommendations (with family members, friends & or co workers) without promulgating offensive/vulgar and or questionable content. 👏🏿👏🏾👏🏽💐‼️

Another GREAT Langston Sisters Saga. I don't understand why so many people are afraid of them. Actually I do know... they are beautiful, business savvy Black Women who know what they are doing and who will dominate their industry ... as long as people stop trying to kill them!
