Book: When the stars danced
Author: Crying Wind

After reading this book, I can say that every story must be told, especially if it is about finding hope. I want to begin the review by stating that I enjoyed reading it. It is simple and short, and it can be completed in one sitting. This book entails the stories of the author's family life, her Indian background, her friendships, heartbreaks, etc. There is a sense of ease in the book. As a reader, I could relate to the emotions that the author had gone through experiencing the events described in the book.

You can read the book if stories of ordinary people engage you. I would say though the writer may come across as an ordinary person who is constantly struggling, stories are certainly written brilliantly. There is a feeling of mystery that forces you to turn the pages.

You can avoid reading it if you are expecting a high level of literature or if you have read many personal stories of struggle and hope. The stories are relatable and unique but the core of the book is about survival and finding happiness.

I am happy that I read this book and certainly want to explore other books of the writer.
