Fall in love all over again with two vintage tales from master storyteller Diana Palmer!

ENAMORED

It had been five years since Diego Laremos's wife, Melissa, had fled their home after a bitter dispute. He never forgave her for leaving, though he hated himself even more for driving her away. And when Melissa reentered his life, his hope for a possible future together was renewed. Melissa felt the same way, but there were things she had to come clean about. Now she had to prove to him that she was indeed his enamorada -- and that the truth would set them both free to love again.

MYSTERY MAN

Tycoon Canton Rourke was beset and besieged -- and all because of his neighbor Janine Curtis. The woman was out to get him; he was sure of it. He'd come to Cancún, Mexico, with his daughter to relax, not to catch bandits, track kidnappers or save Janine from any other mess she got caught up in. Janine was so determined to live down her neighbor's image of her that she ignored how her knees buckled each time he rescued her. Was she falling for this thorn in her side?

In 1995, she graduated summa cum laude from Piedmont College, Demorest, GA, with a major in history and a double minor in archaeology and Spanish. She was named to two honor societies (the Torch Club and Alpha Chi), and was named to the National Dean's List. In addition to her writing projects, she is currently working on her master's degree in history at California State University. She hopes to specialize in Native American studies. She is a member of the Native American Rights Fund, the American Museum of Natural History, the National Cattlemen's Association, the Archaeological Institute of Amenca, the Planetary Society, The Georgia Conservancy, the Georgia Sheriff's Association, and numerous conservation and charitable organizations. Her hobbies include gardening, archaeology, anthropology, iguanas, astronomy and music.

In 1998, her husband retired from his own computer business and now pursues skeet shooting medals in local, state, national and international competition. They love riding around and looking at the countryside, watching sci-fi on TV and at the movies, just talking and eating out.

In Enamored and Mystery Man, Diana Palmer treats the reader to twin tales of danger, intrigue and above all - romance! Diego Laremos was a trained soldier, a fierce mercenary with a deadly reputation. Sweet Melissa Sterling, his neighbor, was completely out of his league, but he was inexplicably drawn to her. Their moment of passion in a Mayan ruin forced a hasty marriage, but a tragic accident shortly severed their ties forever.

Now, years later, Melissa is injured and Diego rushes to her side. Although she tries to keep her ex-husband at arm’s length, they seem destined to be thrown together. Even more puzzling is that Melissa’s young son bears a striking resemblance to Diego himself! As the danger mounts and old secrets threaten to unravel, Melissa finds that Diego may be the only man with the power to save them.

Canton Rourke was a down on his luck ex-millionaire with a young daughter and a fortune hunting ex-wife. He’d been burned once in a bad relationship and he wouldn’t be taken for a fool a second time. Pity that his attractive neighbor didn’t know that. Hiding behind the guise of a secretary, Ms. Curtis was really a successful author in her own right.

Greedy pothunters and Canton’s former wife bring danger into what should be a peaceful, relaxing seaside retreat. The ring of kidnappers and potential murderers draws ever closer as love blossoms between the unlikely couple. Will Canton find the means to save his new love and her family before it’s too late?

I liked the first story of the two a little better. Although the men were typical Diana Palmer alphas, they annoyed me less than the "heroes" in some of her other books.
