This is an informative introductory book about one of our closest neighbors in space, the planet Mars. Unfortunately and fortunately, (depending on how you look at it) this book has been made less current by the latest rover that was sent to the Red Planet after this book’s publication date in 2007. Other than not having the most up-to-date information, the layout is done very well with lovely photos and easy to follow text for elementary and middle grade students.
