Bueno ahora si esta historia esta mejor.Daisy es una camarera embarazada que trabaja en Antonio's el restaurante de los enemigos de los Barone.Ella va a ser madre soltera porque su novio salio huyendo cuando se entero del embarazo y corrió tanto que termino muriendo en un accidente de transito.Ella sola porque es huerfana,(nada nuevo en esta serie,que menos los Barone son casi todos huerfanos,abandonados y sin familia)pero esta feliz porque en medio de su soledad ahora formara una familia junto a su bebe por nacer.
Alex,abandonado en San Valentin(menos mal que me case 7 días después del 14 de febrero porque me he traumado con la mala suerte de los Barone)pues su prometida lo dejo casi plantado en el altar.Cansado ya de la maldición de los Barone decidió dedicarse en cuerpo y alma a su carrera militar.Esta de vacaciones y sus compaÑeros ,también militares se reunen en el restaurante Antonio's ,desde el primer momento que ve a Daisy se siente completamente atraído e impactado por ella.Pero piensa que esta casada,al ver que no lleva anillo de casada( no se porque en los libros les dan tanta importancia a los anillos,yo llevo 9 años casada y jamas he usado el mio)se le acerca,en eso sus amigos se van del restaurante y comienza a discutir con el dueño del mismo y ahí Daisy sufre sus dolores de parto,el la lleva cargada a casa de su hermana Rita,si esa misma la del libro numero 4,un de los mejores de esta serie,que es enfermera y ahí en su casa es que comienzan a ayudarla y entre Rita,María y Alex traen al mundo a la hermosa bebe Ángel.
De ahí surge una bonita historia de amor,de lo mas cuerda.Poco a poco Daisy se va enamorando de Alex,el no porque lo de el fue amor a primera vista,el se enamoro profundamente de la madre y de la hija.Me gusto esta historia ya que esta bien contada,sin dejar nada suelto.El amor va creciendo entre ellos,su familia no se opone al romance y cuando al fin Daisy acepta a Alex,la autora aclara que el seguirá con su carrera de militar y ella lo seguirá a donde el vaya.De verdad que una historia muy bien contada.Ojala todas las de esta saga fueran así de alguna manera.

Seznámili se večer, kdy Daisy porodila. Už během šestinedělí došlo na techtle, i když city k Alexovi pro ni byly pořád matoucí.
A asi tak čtyři dny po šestinedělí byla svatba a odhupkali za duhou.
Oceňuju, že hrdinka už během šesti týdnů po porodu byla mladá, krásná, svěží a žádoucí.

I loved this book! It draws you in from the very begining. It hooked me so bad I couldn't put it down and read it in one day.It truely fits into the 'Desire" line of books. Intimate scenes were tastefully done, and dare I say it? Aroused my senses. I usually keep a Desire book in my purse for light reading in waiting rooms and lines. This one came out of my purse for the usual wait in the Dr.'s office, but drew me in enough in that short period of time,that it immediately came out of my purse when I got home,and I finished it. The feelings and relationship between Daisy and Alex were realistic and easy to believe and relate to.
I purchased this book myself,and I'm glad I did!

Daisy ditolong oleh Alex Barone ketika hampir melahirkan di saat Daisy bekerja sebagai pelayan di restoran saingan keluarga Barone.
Setelah Alex menolong persalinan Daisy,Alex tidak bisa begitu pergi dari kehidupan Daisy tapi memberikan perhatian perhatian yang bisa membuat Daisy selalu merindukan Alex setiap hari dan menganggapnya sebagai pahlawan.
Tapi Daisy selalu berusaha menyangkal ketertarikannya pada Alex karena Alex berasal dari keluarga kaya raya. Lagipula Daisy masih trauma dengan hubungannya denga Jeff.
Alex harus berusaha sekuat tenaga untuk menyakinkan Daisy tentang cintanya.

wow ... daisy dan alex. menakjubkan. getar cinta tumbuh di saat tak terduga. yah bisa di katakan cukup dramatis mengingat daisy berjuang melahirkan malaikat kecilnya dan alex menemaninya. alex adalah pria asing di hidupnya namun getar cinta yg dirasakannya adalah nyata. saya selalu suka dengan kisah seperti ini. sangat mendewasakan dan begitu bijak. saya suka keseluruhan cerita. tidak membosankan bahkan sangat menarik dan begitu alami. itu adalah kesan pertama saya. yang natural memang meninggalkan kesan yang begitu dalam.

kecanduan 'the baroness' series bikin gue beli buku ini. Secara cover... hmm, lucu. Secara isi... hmm, biasa aja. Gue tetep nge-fans sama seri Taming The Beastly MD. Yang ini tokoh cowoknya biasa aja gitu. Kurang terasa chemistrynya sama si cewek.

I really liked Alex and his heart. I am Disappointed nothing was said of Emily from the last book and her amnesia or about the fire. They are not tying threads together very well.
