I thought this was a nice little read, for sure! The writing flowed smoothly and I noticed no errors on the writer's or editor's part. The dialogue sounded natural and realistic, and dialogue is always important to me. And magic has always been somewhat of a guilty pleasure for me, so combining it with a sweet romance was perfect.

The story opens up with a little friendly banter between a brother and sister, and because I'm so close to my own brother, I love that sort of thing. A lot of people don't care for the whole, 'gay-guy-attends-bachlerette-party' schtick, but I think the author did a good job with this one -- I liked the little scene where the girls reveal they got tickets to a JackMagic show; I thought it was cute.

I loved the descriptions of the club and the magic show. I could picture it all clearly in my mind like I was watching a movie.

I liked Aaron and his attitude, especially when he was with his sister. He felt very realistic to me. I really loved their first meeting too; I thought Jack was very charismatic. Although I initially feared him being nothing more than a sexual object for Aaron, he grew deeper as a character as the story went on. Their first sex scene was wonderful and hot, and I loved how afterwards, we got even deeper into Jack's character. And the last line of the story was a perfect ending.

I do wish it would have been longer though, and for as much interaction as Aaron and Jack had, I would have preferred even more. But those are only personal issues, I know. All in all, I really enjoyed this read!

Nicely done short m/m romance about a guy who gets dragged to a sexy magic show (part of his sister’s bachelorette party) and bumps into the magician outside between acts.

This is the second story I've read by Jillian Snyder and again I wish the story was a bit longer. It was a a great read and the characters are really likable.
