The writing and the illustrations are so wonderful. Do yourself a favor and get and read and enjoy the art of all three books in the series. I reread these books every year.
An easy going narrative of some of the stories found in the New Testament. I loved the art but my problem with this book is that the text didn't match up with the illustrations. Their were just random pictures placed on each page. Sometimes the picture on one page matched up with the text on the following set of pages.
Absolutely love the breathtaking illustrations in this book! Black's writing and Swindle's drawings paint a portrayal of the Savior's life that makes you feel like you were living it right beside him.
