This kids/teens small chapter book biography on Rachel Carson has a nice layout with interesting facts added in the margins, lovely photographs, a time line and glossary. This would be a great resource for students learning about ecology, the effects of DDT, and an important woman whom we all are indebted to.

This short biography had some additional interesting information and some great photographs of what DDT does to bird eggs along with info on the TV show that Rachel Carson was on before her death.
