I have a new appreciation for Moody after reading this biography. He's a great example of a man who tries to love people the way he loves God. Not in a worshipful way of course, but in a passionate way. I've never read Moody before this book and he's quickly becoming one of my favorite practical theology guys, and so I have a stack of his books to read through now. I commend this book to you if for no other reason than to see what it's like when a man is as dedicated to learning truth as he is to spreading that truth.
