The story is really interesting and seems different from many sci-fi stories (not that I have read that many). I also noticed while reading this that I'm willing to forgive some things that would seriously annoy me since this was originally written in the '80s. The most important is how almost all the women seem to dress to titillate: this was so common in the 80's comics, book covers, etc., that it's hardly worth mentioning.

oddly enough they don't have volumes one or three but these apply equally to all of the three volumes I've read: good 'magical-girlfriend' space opera with great omake and oddly detailed (compared to the character designs) mechanical design.

I enjoyed the story and the character development. Overall a fun read.
