This collection contains essays about young people's real experiences and the challenges they have faced. One sixteen-year-old writes on how her parents' divorce affected her; another writes on the strength her family had to have when her father died in a car accident.
This book was a different kind of book for me to read but I really liked it. Teens Write Through It is a collection of essays written by boys and girls between the ages of 13 and 18. Every story is different but every story is a true story. There are all different kind of subjects that are talked about including rape, bullying, gangs, death and so many more. Although these stories may sound sad they are also stories of triumph!
