This was one of Eyrran’s favorite books. She constantly checked it out from the Library. She loved the shiny colors. I was delighted today when the kids ask me to read it. Great book about colors. Wonderful texture and beautiful engagement.

A colorfully stunning book that captures children’s imaginations while teaching and reinforcing both their numbers and colors. My students love this book!

Bravo Christian Reese Lassen!

Because my son loves Moon Dance so dearly, we checked this out at the library. While the pictures are just as beautiful, and the length is more well suited to a bedtime story than Moon Dance, the story line is less interesting, and I don't expect much from picture books.

When we read Moon Dance, he asks for it over and over again. When we read this, he asks for Moon Dance.

For those of you wondering why I keep referencing the other book, it is because they are both sea books by the same author and using the same illustration style.

Moon Dance may be remarkably brief, but it's more enchanting.

The illustrations in this book are beautiful. This has been one of my son's favorite books to read, helping him learn about colors and textures. It's written at just the right pace and length for adults to read to their children. I highly recommend it for parents reading to their children (appropriate for ages 1-4).
