I read this book because I'd forgotten a lot of the calculus I learned in college. It's a great self-teaching tool with exercises at the end of each chapter. It does NOT read like a textbook and if you're a math geek, Gootman's writing style is actually interesting and engaging - not dry like a lot of books out there. (Yes, this review is the same as the one on bn.com...that's because I wrote it.)
