“Taking bold action does not mean being reckless. Bold is different from courage and confidence. Bold is being afraid and still taking a chance. Bold is traveling your life’s journey on your terms. Being bold means that you have the strength to make choices for your highest good. Boldness includes identifying and pursuing your passions, even in the face of objections and obstacles. Being bold means that you are unapologetically goal-oriented and motivated, ready to face and overcome the fear and self-doubt that will undoubtedly show up. Traveling the road less traveled and listening to your intuition is boldness personified.” Janet Zavala, Be Bold

Come sit with twelve woman gathered around a fire. The darkness gives them courage to speak their story. They start slow almost stream of conscious but stirring enough to lure me into the next story As the first finishes, it inspires the next one. Each one going deeper and more engaging. Linger awhile. The stories enkindle the fire within as each woman excitedly shares their discoveries of life when they plant their feet in midair. Each in their unique way come to a place in their life where they saw an opportunity or necessity to choose life or death. Life had become too robotic, empty, painful, stuck or not theirs. I decided to be bold and start reading this book beginning with the last chapter by Janet Zavala. Janet did an excellent job explaining the 4 catalysts in her journey of being bold and how it changed her life. She was succinct and didn't give the psychology blab blab blab of how this made her life perfect. Her struggles were real. Janet claims not be be bold and yet did amazing things for a better life. I highly encourage everyone to read the last chapter!
Wonderful and very inspiring book! All the authors share their unique experiences. Great guide for those who needs support and guidance in hard life situations. My particular love, respect and support goes to Melanie Cassitta. You are the best!!!
