Bits Alone

Rate this book
Everyone is afraid of failure, that’s the first thing that we learn as soon as we become self-aware. From the moment we start to think, walk, talk, it’s all about not failing because if you fail you will fall, you will be told off, you will be ridiculed. But what no one tells you from the very beginning, is that it’s actually necessary to fail. There cannot be success without failing, there cannot be light without darkness or black without white. Failure is a necessity in your life, one that you need to embrace and accept as a learning process.

You cannot achieve success without first learning how to accept failure, you shouldn’t be afraid of failure and it doesn’t matter how many times you fail because it only takes one try to become a success and all your failures will be forgotten. But only you can do this, only you and you alone can accept this reality and embrace it as part of your growth and journey to success. Embrace your failures and learn from them, grow from them, make them part of your growth. Only then will you be able to succeed.

From the moment I played my first videogame at the age of 4, I have been fascinated by computers, gadgets and technology in general. This passion was further fueled by sci-fi and adventure movies from the eighties. So much so that I attempted to start my own technology focused business multiple times, most of which failed until I finally succeeded.

This is not a story about a huge successful business, but rather the struggles, failures and tough decisions an entrepreneur has to make, that no one speaks about, to ultimately have success in accomplishing a dream.

You will go through all the emotions I felt throughout my over 20 year career, the highs and lows, the blows, the struggles and the things people don't tell you when you start your own business. This book is not going to teach you success or give you a secret sauce to make your own successful business but it will give you an invaluable insight into what things can and most likely will go wrong.

So hopefully you can learn from my own mistakes and my passion to help you succeed in your own adventure.
