About the author

Ralf König was born on the 8th of August in Soest, Westphalia, Germany. He went to the secondary school in Werl and then later did an apprenticeship as a cabinet-maker. In 1979 during his coming-out he published his first short comic stories which due to the politically motivated gay-movement were very engaged. The comic-stories appeared in the Munich underground magazine Zomix as well as in the gay periodical Rosa Flieder. He decided to continue his studies and then trained at the National Academy of Art in Düsseldorf from 1981-1986 concentrating on Free Art.

It's cute. It's clever. It only got two laughs out of me, though, and no sniffles. Not one of König's best works, in other words. But hey, I'm a completist, and I'll read the last one in the trilogy too. (Would love to see more Konrad and Paul, though!)

Parodia gráfica del jardín del Edén y el Diluvio Universal con un Noé muy similar a un talibán actual.

Los dibujos en sí son de estilo europeo y me recuerdan bastante a los de la revista "El Jueves".

La historia pretende ser una reinterpretación de esos dos momentos religiosos acabando, en las últimas páginas, con una especie de metáfora climática.

La verdad es que no me ha convencido para nada la historia, si sólo hubiera sido una comedia se me hubiera quedado coja con los chistes bastante simplones que incluyen y la intención de ser gracioso a través de una escritura en pareados. Por otro lado, no he entendido para nada que justo al final de la novela gráfica, metido totalmente con calzador, se añadiera esa metáfora acerca del cambio climático.

Es una novela gráfica que no puedo recomendar porque no he entendido que intentaba transmitir a lxs lectorxs.

Super duhovito nadaljevanje Prototipa. Eno zvezdico sem odbil, ker ob branju nisem tako užival kot pri Prototipu. Mogoče je bilo temu tako tudi zaradi antipatičnosti Noeja - res je bilo težko brati njegove egoistične izpade in furstracije... če bi Noe imel twitter, bi bil zagotovo trol iz kleti.

Simpática revisión del mito del diluvio desde el particular humor desenfadado y cínico de Köning, que se lleva a su terreno esa parte de la Biblia y la convierte en una divertida historia sobre los deseos que anhelamos, pero que tal vez en realidad no queremos tanto.

El segundo volumen de la serie bíblica de König versiona la vida de Noé, el patriarca de Israel. Es mucho más aburrido que el primero (Prototipo) y casi tanto como el tercero (Antitipo), aunque la trama guarda una cohesión mayor que el último.
