Colleen Michaels' poems are part memoir, part magic. In this world of games of chance, carnival rides, family amusements, is a speaker who is always watching for the magical and unexpected. The collection is connected via this thread of the extraordinary in our seemingly ordinary lives. A beautiful debut collection that lives up to its colorful and quirky cover art.
