There is little to no drama in this book apart from the first chapter. It's a feel-good, short and spicy novella that will leave you feeling content that you read it!

I am voluntarily reviewing an advanced reader copy of this book.

Posey couldn’t believe that she was going to a party with not only the most popular guy in school but also her long time crush Dean. Everything was perfect until they arrived and she discovered that this was all a joke. Feeling stupid and humiliated she takes refuge in his fathers office, knowing she shouldn’t be in there but also knowing that this is the last place anyone would look for her, she’s startled when his father arrives home to break up the party and how he looks at her makes her feel things his son ever did. He promises to take care of her but can she trust a man she only just met especially after the way his son just treated her?

Keanan was unhappy to say the least when he arrives home early from a business trip to discover his son is having a party. Keanan has watched his sons behaviour decline and knows he needs to take action, he’s proud he gave his son an upbringing so different from his own but sad at the man he’s becoming. Things go from bad to worse when he finds Posey hiding in his office, his soul recognises his mate straight away and knows that she is meant to be his, but there is no way that a young girl would consider being with a man as old as he is, but he’s not going to stop in his quest for their forever. Will Posey give them a chance or will outside forces get in their way?

I really loved this book and so far this is my fave read of 2023. It’s super hot, super sweet and perfect bedtime reading. 4.5* read.

This was an age gap with a hint of taboo since Keanan discovers Posey in his office after ending a house party his son threw and after his son’s joke on Posey gone bad. Expect a man’s obsession for his good girl with lots of spice and breeding kink. Keanan was absolutely smitten. An enjoyable short read, fast pace, in dual first person.

This is a steamy, but short read. If you like instant connections, with lots of spice this one is for you. While it’s was a fast read, I wanted more of everything, but especially more plot and character development. Keanan was a decent love interest and Posey seemed sweet, there wasn’t much more than very basic characteristics. When I was done, I was left wanting so much more. There is a ton of room left to add more to the story or make a second book. As a reader, I wanted to see more of their time together.

Posey is a nerd who spends all her time with her head in the books. She has had a crush Dean Cole, the popular rich guy for as long as she can remember but he doesn't even look her way, then one day he comes up and invites her to a party that he was having at his house she could hardly believe it. However, he wasn't seriously asking her out and was playing with her feelings. It was all mockery on a bet with his other rich friends to see who could get the nerds to party so that they could humiliate them in front of everyone. Posey was so heartbroken that she didn't figure it out prior to coming to save herself the humiliation she just wanted to go hide some place quiet away from the noise and everyone. She stumbled upon an office which turned out to be Mr. Cole's. Keanan shows up mad and kicks everyone out of his house then let his son clean up the mess. He proceed to office which is his sanctuary and came upon Posey a.k.a. Angel who left him spellbound. It was love at first sight and he that she was going to change his life and that he had to have her. Posey told him that she was sorry for being in office and tried to leave but once fog clears from his brain he didn't want her to go. She quickly found out that he wasn't like his son. He made her explain what happened to her at the party.
Keanan grew up poor but by the time he was his son's age he already had two companies and was taking care of his family. He's a self made billionaire and his wife died when his son was an infant not knowing how to navigate the life of being a being a parent and working he spoiled his son by giving him everything he wants. Keanan takes Posey home from his house since son has to clean up his mess. The chemistry between is charge and they both wants each other. Keanan is not happy with the neighborhood that Posey lives in and he wants to get her away from there. He was so obsessed with her he was growling at his son for her number. From the moment he saw her he said she was mine, mine own to breed, mine to taste and mine to fuck. He wasn't going to stop until he have her. He can't work, he can't sleep. He wanted her under his roof. Posey mom doesn't approve of Keanan and she believes he only wants in her pants and too old for her. But Posey doesn't care the heart wants what the heart wants. This is sweet gem of book and worth the read.

Absolutely loved this steamy age-gap novella. Insta-loves are just my thing and this was what I needed today. Reading this at work had me all red-faced and flustered!
I was intruiged how Darcy Rose also portrayed Keanan's son Dean, as someone who I usually read in that roll is a nasty little self-centered and privilaged turd. Not in this case, and it was an interesting change to see how this character was portrayed. Plus the happy ending was the perfect amount of sweet to have you wondering what happens to this new lovely couple.

Falling for Lies But Discovering Real Love

When Dean Cole invited Posey to a party being held at his house, she is beyond excited. She has crushed over him since she first met him in one of her college classes. And now, finally, the beautiful, petite blonde with big blue eyes is anticipating Dean’s arrival to pick at her place and transport her to his house for the party that he’s hosting. But, when she arrives at his family’s impressive house, it becomes very clear that she is not there as a guest. Rather she is his contribution to some cruel scavenger hunt “find” that will allow him to win the challenge. She realizes that she has wasted heart time dreaming about being with him, when he only wanted her for a childish and cruel game.

But, before she can escape the cruelty of Dean and his friends, Dean’s dad appears—a real man, not a boy pretending to be a man. And when, Keanan, spots Posey, the widower realizes that he has found the woman that his heart has been seeking for years.

Darcy Rose offers the reader a very seductive short romance of love surprising an older man and a beautiful, innocent younger woman. I received the ARC for this novella, but will enjoy reading it and other Rose tales with Kindle Unlimited.

Posey is self described book worm who was beyond thrilled when Dean a rich hot guy on campus asked her to his house party. She spent the very little money she had on a new outfit only to be the butt of the joke at the party when she discovered she was part of a bet. Devastated by the humiliation she seeks refuge in the first quite room she finds.
Keanan is a self made billionaire whose wife died when their son Dean was a baby comes home to discover his spoiled son having a house party. He immediately kicks everyone out and tells his son to clean-up his act and house or his is cutting him off. Stressed he heads to his office to discover a beautiful woman staring out the window.
This is where his and Posey's storyline begins and what brings them together.
Their story was steamy, taboo, sexy, sweet and loving that started with a touch of drama.

If you are looking for something quick and steamy to read. This novella is for you. It gives you an age gap, forbidden love, breeding kink, and praise kink.

This story is straight, and simple, and got to the steamy point.

Posey has a crush on Dean Cole and can't believe that he has invited her to party at his home, what can go wrong? How about being brought to see who brought the biggest loser in school? Embarrassed, she hides out in an empty dark room.

Enter daddy Keanan Cole who happens to arrive a day early from business to find his son having a party. Kicking them out, he heads to his office to find the most beautiful girl he had ever seen standing inside, he thinks he sees an angel. Soon both are lusting after wanting one another.

Keanan wants Posey all for himself and will stop at nothing to make her his and teach her the ways of becoming his good little girl.

The spice is this book was top-tier.

The night wasn’t a disaster after all
Posey thought her luck was in when Dean invited her to one of his parties. Dean was one of the rich kids and they didn’t hang out at all. But when she got there she got a shock because she was just there because of a game. When she goes to hide in Deans fathers study her life changes forever because when she came face-to-face with his dad, she had feelings she never had before but he was twice her age after be her dad he wouldn’t have feelings about her, would he??
I really enjoyed this story I absolutely disliked Dean I thought he was a very immature spoilt brat but his dad was a whole different ballgame. And what he was willing to do for Posey makes him my hero in my eyes. These two are made for each other they just are beautiful together.

Falling For His Father is a quick, smutty read if you like that kind of thing. It’s a familiar story, a girl from the wrong side of the tracks is asked to a party by one the popular boys only to find out he did to win a bet with his friends so humiliated, she’s hiding out in his father’s study when he walks in on her and falls instantly in lust with her no matter that she’s half his age.

Unfortunately, for me the hero Keanan just had a bit of a creepy vibe about him and was just a little too quick to make his move when Posey was left in a vulnerable situation. Saying that Posey was quick to switch her attention from the son to the father so maybe she had an eye out for the main chance all along. Personally I’d give it ten years before she divorces him and runs off with the pool boy.

Posey, after a disastrous party invite has a chance encounter with her crushes father. Keanan knows before he even sees her that it will change his life. When he sees her, he knows instantly he can't let her go. After discovering her mother loses her job, Posey turns to Keanan for help. Jumping at the chance to be near her again he gladly offers to take care of her, just not in the way she expected.

I rated this 3 out of 5 stars. A sweet but spicy age gap to add to your TBR. I did feel some of the writing was written in an immature perspective considering his age and a little repetitive but over all a good read.

So I started reading with the intent of finishing two maybe three chapters now and reading more later before bed or maybe tomorrow. You know, space it out a little bit. But nope! I just couldn't put it down and ended up reading the whole book in one sitting! It was straight to the point, didn't draw out the plot to the point you start to lose interest, and the spiciness of it all! My goodness. It was...Chef's kiss. It made me anxiously anticipate their next encounter and when they were together, I was not disappointed! And the epilogue! Just..... yes.

I really hope the author considers a sequel for this story because I want to see their story continue!!

Short sweet insta-love between a sweet innocent girl and a man much older than her.

I wasn't sure what I would think of this story. But considering how short it was I thought why not. I loved it. I loved that Posey got her HEA after how this story started. I loved that it was with Dean's father and that he wasn't mean about it. I loved how much Keanan loved Posey. It was a taboo relationship but well worth the risks.

This is a short steamy read with an age gap. When the nerdy young college girl is asked to a party by the popular jock frat boy as a bet/joke she is utterly humiliated. Her night doesn’t end so bad when she meets his father though. Keenan meets her and lifts her spirits. What happens between them? Will they be able to make it work with their age gap and with her meeting Keenan’s son first? Their attraction is instant as is their connection. This is sweet with not a lot of drama and some spicy spice to warm you right up on a cold night. I really enjoyed Posey and Keenan’s story.

I loved how this book is taboo, but didn’t actually focused on that and I honestly feel like that is missing from a lot of novellas/books out there in this same genre.

Read it if you love a possessive man, that still wants you to thrive in life but with him by his side.

A quick decent read. Instalove romance. I liked the age gap vibe though it was more suitable for Keanan to fell in love with Posey's mother than falling for her ( I would have preferred the mother is no longer in the picture but that's just my preference) However, this is fiction, so a touch of unreasonable is acceptable.
