Apparently, I've now read this three times?! So glad to be rereading this as an adult; there's so much more to enjoy with some maturity of years behind you. I love the school newsletters in this one although did no-one notice that the mock photo of the parents at the Carols by Candelight event (p. 118 in my edition) is actually a real-life photo featuring Playboy bunnies?! Truly! It's like there's little Easter eggs for adults sprinkled all throughout this series; love it. Such delightful and naughty comfort reading.
