The characters in these books are so delightful. I can't wait until book ten comes out!

In the prologue of this book Wynona removes the curse from Luigi and we find out who he really is. He proclaims himself to be her Uncle Arune.
In the first chapter, while they're trying to figure out how to determine if he truly is who he says, Rayn shows up in her dragon form, shifts and throws herself in Arune's arms. It seems they are soul mates.
Once the dust settles on that encounter, Rascal and Wynona leave for their honeymoon, two weeks with no one knowing where they are. For Wynona it's a surprise as well since Rascal didn't tell her he was taking her to meet his family. She isn't pleased when she finds out either. She's just not sure how his family is going to react to her since she's a witch and a Le Doux.
The meeting with his father goes well and reassures her somewhat. However, there's still a lot of family to meet, including his mother.
Everything was going fine at dinner that night first night until two men and a women burst into the dining room. One of the men demanding to know where his sister is.
Alpha Strongclaw, gets the man to calm enough to tell him what's going on. His sister Opal had slipped her guard, Bermin and didn't take Sartel with her. They were the two people with him.
Things really go up a notch when Bermin is dead and Barry is holding Opal in the same room with the body.
Rascal can't be involved because he's family and the best suspect is his brother Barry who fled the scene.
We learn more about the Grove of Secrets and also Wynona's powers. So many things all seem to connect somehow.
Plenty of twists and turns as this mystery unfolds and decisions are made.
I can't wait to read the next book in this series!

This series is incredible. I love it!
Wynona leaves to go on honeymoon with soulmate Rascal, ending up visiting his family. Obviously, the visit is interrupted by a murder, and the newlyweds are dragged into another investigation.
With the help of the usual crew, and against further disruption from Wy's father, the culprit is found.

This series is so good! I'm sad that the finale is coming but I can't wait to find out what happens with Wy, Rascal, and everyone else in their gang. Book #9 is leaving me with even more questions and I can't wait until the 10th is released!

Just in time for her honeymoon one of Rascal’s brothers is accused of murder. As they look for clues to find the real culprit things may not be as they seem. The paranormal world is feeling a stir and her father may be right in the middle of everything. Is she ready to take on the challenge?
There are surprises around every corner and in the Paranormal world you’d better watch your back. You don’t want to miss this book. I loved it!
