Bound not by blood but loyalty. We live, we ride and we die by our own laws
I wasn’t born dark. I was moulded this way. I’ve suffered hell, I’ve been at the bottom of the pit. But now I have to come out fighting.
The Souls have given me an outlet. They taught me a way to unleash all the fury and pain inside me. And I need that now, more than ever.
When Jasmine comes to town looking for answers, I should avoid her. Nothing good ever came from being around me. And this girl shines far too bright to blacken with my shadow. She’s pretty, innocent but, more than anything, she’s determined.
It’s gonna take a whole lot of strength to save her from me.
Ruined Soul is Book 11 in The Dirty Soul Series
**Warning**
Stolen Soul and all books in the Dirty Soul’s Mc series are a work of fiction and contain adult content. Due to the nature of the series, you should expect to come across various subject matter that some readers may find disturbing and it is intended for readers 18+
Emma Creed lives in England and enjoys behaving like the perfect princess to her extremely tolerable husband all whilst raising 3 boys and a mini princess in the making. When she isn’t entertaining the voices in her head, she spends her free time with a glass of white wine and a good book. Emma has been an avid reader since she was a little girl and with a little encouragement to take the leap into writing, she discovered that she loved it. When she isn’t locked in her writing cave making up stories she can be found chatting on social media and wasting hours scrolling through Tik Toc.
Such a fantastic read from beginning to end! Anyone who's a fan of this series has been anxiously awaiting for Storm's story and Emma certainly did not disappoint. Despite being really dark in spots - especially in regards to Storm's history - the love story itself was actually quite sweet. They're both pretty young and quite innocent in the "relationship" department and it was beautiful to see them find their way together. Jasmine is definitely the sun to his dark and manages to give him the light he so badly needs. We get great progression on some of the series overarching storylines as well as the usual insights into all of our favorite Dirty Souls characters. Seriously one of the best MC series out there!
Oooh yes! I have been waiting for Storm! I really enjoyed this book. Jasmine is so perfect for Storm. I love a heroine who speaks her mind and isn’t afraid to just ask/say what’s on her mind, no games. That’s exactly what he needed!
As always, it’s great to catch up with all the Souls. I love how Emma incorporates little bits of the other characters too so we can know what’s going on with them. It also helps keep this entire storyline all so nicely built. This whole series reads like a tv series, and I think it’s awesome!
The MVP award goes to Rogue for being an absolutely amazing person/friend/family member/general badass. And Jimmer gets the Mr. Congeniality award for being such a great matchmaker!
Another fantastic book by this author. A pre warning - that this book deals with a lot of sad and dark elements, please read the trigger warnings as some scenes are very graphic. We finally get the story of Storm, and what a story it is. This poor guy has had an unbelievably rough life since his mom died. From minor details readers could piece together in previous books that Storm was also sexually brutalized the same night as Shaniya. This book goes into a lot more detail. Jasmine is the younger sister of Carly and Skid is desperate to keep her away from the club and the truth of Carly’s death. Everything gets so much more complicated as Jasmine becomes the nanny to the numerous kids in the club, including Storm’s baby daughter Faith. There’s so many twists, turns, and elements of surprise in this book. I sobbed at quite a few parts and I even threw my kindle. My only negative thought is that the smut was fairly lacking, but the plot keeps you more than heavily engaged. I loved seeing more of my favorite character, Skid, and I need a HEA for him at some point.
I had been waiting for this story for so long, and it was everything I had hoped for and more!! Storm has held my heart for a while now, watching everything he has been through and gets put through, has had me crossing my fingers for him to find peace in his life and someone to love. He has hit rock bottom so hard, and I’m not sure how he keeps picking himself back up. Jasmine comes to town looking for answers to her sisters death, but finds even more than she was looking for. The push and pull between these two made my heart ache for them both. Emotions always run rampant in this author’s books. She knows just how to pull you in and batter your heart.
I will never stop recommending this entire series. It is by far my favorite MC series I’ve ever read. The way this author writes is transcendent, and takes you out of real life and doesn’t release you until the book is over. The characters are ever evolving and as new characters are added the world building is expanding and their relationships mesh and grow. If you haven’t started this book, or series, I highly suggest it. Do heed the trigger warnings, things can get a bit dark.
Liam Hayes knows by Storm just got recent patch as a DirtySoul. He had a hard life loosing his mother and taken care of his little sister Riley. Until she got missing and his word just change. His journey to find his sister who was taken trafficking ring. He came to the Dirty Soul did what he had to do found his sister and prove to be as Dirty Soul as he became one. But he couldn’t stop thinking about Jasmine who he given a ride home on that raining day.Jasmine started a job taken care of the kids of the Dirty Soul. Jasmine started working for Maddy and Alex’s watching the kids. But she had a mind to find out what really happen to her sister Carly death. In her bones she knew something was cover off. So she took the job to see. But the problem was that night she met storm and couldn’t stop thinking about him. This book had everything in it . Talk about roller coaster ride.this book was fantastic I recommend it I give 5/5 . Amazing how everything was well written and the characters were fantastic .
Storm and Jaz’s story hold true to this author’s rein of torture, happiness and the d*%n cliffhanger!!! I knew Storms story was going to be hard. But I’ve come to realize that this is what makes The Dirty Souls series exceptional! Definitely recommend this book along with the whole series!!
I just didn’t feel the connection between the MCs. Yes it was insta love so maybe that’s why I’m having a hard time understating how they got married so quickly. Anyway, my favorite is still book #2.
This was another emotionally driven amazing story from this author! I’ve been dying for Storms story and Emma Creed didn’t disappoint! Grab your tissues ladies and buckle up for one helluva ride !
I’ve never been attracted to danger before. I’ve spend my whole life playing it safe.
Life can be a cruel mistress who plays with deadly cards and with Storms hand he really is fighting against his luck. Until recently though those cards have been in his favour, getting his sister back and receiving a surprise unlike any other…finding out that the baby girl who landed on the club's doorstep is his.
Storm has grown since he first came barreling into the club house, he has worked pulling his weight, gained the respect of his fellow brothers and now is a fully patched member. The demon inside however is still there and has to be unleashed to satisfy the burning rage that Storm carries around.
But, if there is anyone who can bring a smile to his face, it’s his daughter and with everyone around supporting him, Storm is becoming proud to be her father.
One, rainy stormy day brought another and with her sunshine beaming towards him, Storm fears his darkness could taint her pure loving soul.
I don’t want to let her in, and worst of all, I don’t want to know how good it feels to have her touch me, because once I do, I know I’ll crave it even more.
Jasmine is determined to find out answers about her sister’s Carly death. There is no way her sister would take her own life…it doesn’t make sense…she was happy especially with her husband Skid living with the Dirty Souls. Jasmine may be out to find answers but what she didn’t know she would find is friendship, acceptance and for her heart to fall for her very own Dirty Soul man.
Storm is no prince charming who helped her in the rain, but there is something more beyond those piercing blue eyes and Jasmine is finding it hard to resist a taste of danger every time they are together.
A kiss like she never imagined. A touch that sends her into overdrive. A voice that brings her soul to life.
“You don’t love me. You love the idea of taking a ruined soul and fixing it. But there ain’t no fixing me, Jaz.”
With the threat that Storm could lose the very thing that keeps him waking up each morning and the past suddenly turning up causing rippling effects for everybody now…Storm is struggling to keep everything together.
The fairytale story of having everyone he loves safe and protected could turn into a nightmare.
But, his nightmare…could be the one thing to strengthen his power to overcome anything.
“I don’t want you to be someone you’re not.” “You don’t know what you’re askin’.”
Storm certainly made an entrance earlier on in this series…and I’ve been chomping at the bit to sink my teeth into his story. Then how this series has developed with Storm being involved in certain areas as most characters are within this series.
I couldn’t wait to totally zone in and read Storm’s story…I was not left disappointed!
The fatherly bond he has with Faith is beautiful and seeing those moments does bring out another side to Storm, yes he’s still learning but with the way this club is constantly growing with our Pappa dad’s and fearless mothers…Storm knows everyone has got his back.
Holding meetings on baby showers…I tell ya, it’s these brilliant crafted scenes that make these characters come to life and bring the wholesome kickass family together.
Where have our mean, ruthless and terrifying bikers gone? Absolutely nowhere! With Storm predicament the club is gearing up and ready to do anything they can to help their fellow brother…this is personal…this is family.
I love Storm & Jasmine <3 is a connection is there from the off and the warning to stay away too…but you can’t fight love and these two have a rocky fast road to travel…is the sacrifice going to be worth it?
Another Phenomenal Dirty Souls Story!!! Loved Storm & Jasmine ❤️
⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️ Review
Oh My Freaking goodness……this series just keeps getting more emotionally raw, more phenomenal and more perfect with every single book that Emma writes into it. I don’t think I could ever imagine having this series end. I would truly and seriously be lost without each and every additional book. I have been anticipating this book ever since Abandoned Soul, Storms story needed to be told. And let me tell you Emma did not disappoint, she hit us with everything she had with this one.
This may have be Storms dark, gut wrenching story but we also get Jasmine’s too. And their story together was freaking fantastic. Emotional, raw and heartbreaking at times but oh so perfect. We got a tease of these two in the previous book but their chemistry and connection in this one was off the charts, these two are so amazing together. Even with all their struggles individually and together they still manage to find their HEA. When Jasmine finally gets the answers she’s seeking about Carly it will absolutely gut you, and seeing how everything effects hers and her fathers relationship will leave you feeling heartbroken. The amount of tragedy and pain both Storm and Jasmine have had to face and go thru will astound you.
There is revenge to be had from the past and it will be gotten. This is a book you absolutely must read, I am still eagerly awaiting for Skid to get his revenge and I’m hoping it will be sooner than later. Can’t wait for the next book. This book and this series is one I highly recommend, one of the best MC series I’ve read.
There were things I really, really liked about this book. The main thing being that another bad guy wasn't introduced that keeps getting away and hanging around their heads like a sword ready to drop. Storm took care of that. I liked that the other threat to Storm and Faith isn't hanging around with too much insider knowledge and no leash anymore, as well. They are no longer people to worry about and are not wrinkles moving with us into the next book. Having Chop still out there, the rival MC and the problems in Long Beach are more than enough to keep the pressure on. The quick mention of the Cowboys was interesting but that dangling crossover plot wasn't resolved. Whatever did happen with the guns?
I loved how Rogue is making herself a part of the team on her terms and is doing it by showing vulnerability where needed and kick ass strength were needed as well.
What I didn't like about this book was the FMC, Jasmine. She felt like a teenage babysitter to me and the whole relationship with Storm just didn't come across well at all. Her innocence came off as immaturity and naivete that was glaring next to Storm. She actually had a backstory that could have led to some three dimensional characterization but she ended up with no personality except babysitting and fawning over Storm. It hit all of my ick buttons.
I actually almost DNF'd this one about half way through but decided I wanted to see how things would turn out with Felix and Mel.
I've loved this entire series, but Ruined Souls is probably my favorite since Forbidden Soul. It was so dark and heartbreaking and violent and everything I love from Emma Creed. This one made me laugh, it made me cry and it tore my heart open before stitching it back together, I loved it so much.
Storm has been a favorite character of mine for a while. What he went through with Shaniya in Forbidden Soul and how he acted since just about stole my heart. He is just so broken and looking for pain and control as a way to hide it. In stolen soul, captivated soul and abandoned soul we really got to see his anger and how it festered... Seeing him heal with Jaz was just so beautiful.
I really adore Jasmine too. We Carly's sister hit the scene at the end of abandoned soul I wasn't sure what that was going to mean for the club... Turns out this ray of sunshine was going to fix not only Storm, but Skid and her dad too. She was young, and maybe a little naive, but she is just so strong and wonderful and I loved her so much.
I don't want to spoil anything for the main plots, but hold on to your butts. We get some wild revelations that lead to some pretty intense action and lots of blood and violence. I think my favorite part was watching Rogue getting a little action too. This whole book was amazing and I can't wait for more from this series.
I received an advance review copy for free, and I am leaving this review voluntarily. This is my own opinion and was not influenced by anyone.
As the series continues I fall more and more in love with the Souls. Ruined Soul is Storm's story. After finding out he is the father to baby Faith, he has stepped up for his daughter. He is still true to his name as his darkness surrounds him. When Storm sees Jasmine, he feels an attraction that he doesn't understand. She comes with lots of baggage involving a history with the club. Now Storm's past, both long ago and more recent, stirs up major problems for him. Can he figure out Jasmine is the One?
I love how well-fleshed out the characters are. I feel like I know these characters. They feel like family. Emma Creed writes so you can't help but care about them. I love the world in which the Souls live. Life is by no means perfect but this group sticks together and are there for each other.
While Storm is a standalone book, I really feel to understand the true atmosphere of the world Storm lives in and the history that ties this group together, I recommend reading the series. I dare you not to get pulled into the world and drama surrounding them. I was. Each book has gotten better and better. Storm is now my new favorite! I have been rooting for him to find his happiness. Say yes to Ruined Soul.
If you’ve kept up with the Dirty Souls till now, you know how Storm came into the picture, and you probably have an idea of what he’s gone through. Emma Creed finally lays it all out for us. Every sad, horrific detail, and it’s brilliant. Be sure to check out any triggers because, like the other books in this series, it delves into some pretty deep stuff.
Without giving away too many details from previous books, Storm is living at the compound with the other members, dealing with new obligations and expectations, when Jasmine comes into the picture. She might be beautiful and bright and happy, but she’s also very determined to find out the answers to her questions.
Jasmine and Storm are the perfect combo of sunshine/grumpy, but with the dark angles. She really is the perfect offset to his character and, over time, we find out just how much they really need each other. If you love the dedication that the Dirty Souls have shown over time to their women, Storm is NO exception- touch her and you’ll be unalived is very much present.
Emma continues her amazing worldbuilding in the Dirty Souls, tying in other aspects that her faithful readers will catch. I highly recommend Storm’s story- it’s heartbreaking, and beautiful, and everything I hoped it would be.
Be sure to check out the rest of the series first- you’ll get the most out of this book.
Liam/Storm has had a hard life, he did his best when he and his sister were out on the street. One fateful night he was out earning money when his sister, Riley was taken by a human trafficking ring. In his journey to find his sister he is found by the Dirty Souls MC and becomes part of the family.
It took years to find his sister, now she is with the club and ol’ lady to a brother. Now he is a dad to Faith, whole a club girl gave birth to an dropped on the club steps when she was six months old. When Jasmine (sister-in-law to Skid) comes around trying to find out what really happened to her sister, there is something about her that calls to him. He tries to resist and push her away but with her watching other club children, she sometimes watches Faith. Jasmine is determined to not let Storm push her away, she loves all of him not just the pretty parts, the darkness as well.
This a dark and twisted story, Storm has gone thru so much prior to this book and it does not stop there. Truths come out, that you probably will not see coming. Cannot for more from the Dirty Souls MC
Moving straight on with Storm’s story, as well as the other issues the club has going on, this book hits the action and drama buttons quickly—I loved every bit of it.
Storm certainly has settled into a new routine with his baby daughter, as well as, rapidly growing up—but raising babies will do that to you. He’s very hard on himself and the whole way through the story I often felt like giving him a hug, then reassuring him.
Jasmine is such a sweetheart and knows how to support others and care for them. Needing to know how her sister died eats away at her but she is smart enough to know having patience is the way to go. I love how she shows so much love to all of the children but especially Faith.
Rouge is her usual unique self and wonderful to see too. I have to say, she is one of my favourite characters and she never disappoints readers with her flair for putting things into perspective, as well as, seeing things from different angles.
I can’t get enough of these characters and love their loyalty towards each other and how they show it in both big and small ways. This series is the bomb!
Storm has suffered through more than any person should have to in several lifetimes. He finally has his sister back, but he's different now. Circumstances have changed everything, and some not for the good. The only other female that he will do anything for is his daughter. There's no way anyone else would want him.
Jasmine has been taking care of the littlest Souls while their mama's are busy. That's not the only reason she's taken on the job though. She needs to find out the truth about what happened to her sister. She knows who has the answers and she's determined to stay with the Souls to uncover the mystery.
The pull is so strong between the man who had to grow up fast and the woman who was sheltered from the horrors of the world. Will she be able to convince him that his soul isn't as ruined as he believes, or will the darkness that revolves around him snuff out her light?
This almost tops the twins' story as one of my faves. The raw emotions that it inflicted had me laughing hysterically and choking back tears. The tension couldn't be cut with a chainsaw. It is a beautiful dark dance between them. Another 10 star read!
I have been waiting for this book from the moment that I first read about him and I knew that it was going to be a huge roller coaster emotional ride. Although a tragedy brought them together when Jasmine was looking for answers in to her sister’s death, it was Jasmine and Storm’s emotional connection that kept them and held them together. Jasmine is a very strong and determined woman and she was able to break though all of Storm’ ‘s barriers and make him realise exactly what he had in his life and that he deep down is a good person who is always wanted to protect those he loves and his club and brothers. This book is most definitely my favourite in the series and I was so caught up in this book with all of it’s twists and turns that I was not expecting at all. Lots of secrets that are revealed only make this book so much better. Another amazing read by Ms Creed in this truly amazing series. Keep the tissues and wine on hand because you will defintely need them both. Hope the books just keep coming and coming.
I received an arc copy from the author and am voluntarily leaving an honest review.
Each book gets better and better and sucks you in further, Storms story is no exception. We've known what happened to Storm but we didn't know what he felt. We see that here. We get a look into the pain and devastation he feels. What I loved was watching him face his fears and come to realizations on his own time. He worked through the hurt and found a way to move on that was best for him. He was on his timeline and healed properly. His daughter kept him motivated and Jasmine's love kept him sane. This didn't go without its hiccups. He's broken. His fears also caused new pains that he had to work through, but his love for Jasmine and his daughter made him see things in a new light. There's drama that you don't expect and retaliations that make you jump for joy. This family that Storm is part of really comes together and shows him that they all love him, and that they all want what's best for him. This family will do everything they can for each other and sometimes, that support comes from the least expected of places.
Well as always with an Emma Creed read this one manages to grab you and draw you in instantly with this fantastic MC Family.. no matter how long its been since your last Dirty Soul read you can remember straight away where you left off and what drama is going on with this dysfunctional gang. This time we get the story of younger single dad Storm, and damn has he got a story to tell. After going through a super traumatic time or 2 with first sister Riley and then with Shaninya, before finding out hes a dad, Storm is struggling to find his way. But one thing hes definitely shining at is being a Dad! The scenes with him and Faith were just beautiful! When Jasmine enters their lives, Storm could never imagine himself to be good enough to be able to keep her but seeing him start to be happy again is amazing! So so many twists turns and secrets you cant help but flip through those pages devouring every word as quick as you can! I could read about this MC Club all day every day! Well done Emma for another smash hit book! *Read as part of KU*
MMC/FMC- Storm and Jasmine POV- 1st person multiple Genre- MC Romance Series? Y. Cannot be read as a standalone. Safety- N. S. Violence. No cheating. HEA for the couple but overall story arc still pending. Heat- 🌋🌋🌋🌋. They do the things and name the parts. Triggers- Detailed memories of S. Violence including M/M S.A., Graphic Violence, Language, Explicit Erotic Content. Tropes- Single Dad, Nanny/Caregiver, Secret Crush, Off Limits/Forbidden Love, Brother-in-Law’s Friend, The Good Daughter, Adorable Moppet. What I liked- I liked the characters. They were all complex, even the bad guy. Rogue is one of my favorites. And I liked that the characters are not just what they appear to be on the surface. Which I guess I already covered when I said that they were complex. Oh well. What I didn’t- nothing. But I always wonder when I read an MC romance: is there a requirement that you have to be attractive to get into the club? Is that how they weed out prospects?
We’ve seen Storm in other Untamed Souls books, along with his sisters Riley’s story and the who’s the daddy, well this book really tells you Storms story from the beginning
Jasmine has shown up, wanting answers on how her sister Carly really died, knowing that Skid is hiding the truth from her
Storm and Jasmine really like each other, but he has his daughter to think of and he believes his dark side is too much for a sweet girl like her to handle, however Jasmine is determined to make him see she’s not so sweet 🥵
Read with enthusiasm in watching the scum of the earth getting there just deserves 🔪for being disgusting vile creatures………
And Rouge 😜😜 this is so action packed that you will devour it within hours and just knowing that Chop’s life will be coming to an end soon
This series just keeps getting better with each book. We first meet Storm when he arrives at the clubhouse as a very angry young man, he has been trying to find his sister who was snatched whilst they were living on the streets as teens. His life so far has been turbulent from living on the streets trying to keep himself and his sister safe, being kidnapped with a brothers Old Lady, being reunited with his sister and discovering he is the father of the baby left at the clubhouse. He also has a dark hidden secret that haunts him. Meeting Jasmine is the lifeline that saves Storm and lightens his heart, but Jasmines ties with the club have a brother wanting her to keep away.
The story as with all the books in the series is action packed, full of twists and turns and anguish. The next book in the series cannot come soon enough.
Imagine living in your own head filled with hurt, hate and messed up feelings...that's exactly how Storm has been living his life, keeping everyone at arm's length, thinking it's best for everyone...this was until Jasmine came onto the scene, she was craving answers for her sister's death, hanging around the club, and all the while the sparks started to fly between her and Liam...their relationship was fast paced but so beautiful that Emma left you craving much much more! The heat in this book was off the scale and the secrets and lies made this a perfect addition to the Dirty Souls series...I can't wait for the next!
Oh this book took me on dark adventure, and I didn’t want to be saved . Storm and Jasmine’s story will claw at your very heart & soul . I felt this story deep in my very being .
Storms life has been filled in so much pain , but the humiliation he feels is ripping him apart , his thirst for violence only calms his soul for a short time .
He tries to avoid Jasmine at all cost , he doesn’t want his darkness to overpower her light .
They both have questions that need answers, the only question that doesn’t need answering is ‘ do they want each other ‘ , because the answer is a resounding, ‘ yes’
I have recieved a ARC andwrote this review voluntarily!
What a beautiful and intense storyline. Emma Creed does it every time! I don't know which book is the best anymore, but this one is definitely in the top 5!!
Storm's story is very moving because of everything he has been through with Shanaya. But also very nice how you see him deal with fatherhood and everything that comes with it.
Then you have our dear Jasmine. She actually came to the MC to get answers about Carly's murder. She also wants to get it for her father. But she actually falls in love with Storm instantly. In the end, she gets the answers she wants. But is she so happy with it?!?!?! that's the big question.
Jasmine only wants answers of how her sister really died. Taking care of the club's children she might eventually find out the truth. Storm has stepped up as a father to his daughter Faith. He's attracted to Jasmine but he knows the real reason she's at the club. Mel is back in the picture trying to dig her claws in concerning Faith . When Storm's past reappears he finds answers he wasn't bargaining for. Storm finally comes to terms with his and Shane's past that bonded them. He reveals their secret to Jasmine. “I want you, and I’ll love you however you come. Ruined, broken, full of rage, covered in blood. You don’t scare me.” Another fabulous book in this series!
First this author killed it with this book and along with it wrecked me. She did an outstanding job on making you feel all and I mean all of the emotions that Liam aka Storm and Jasmine felt. I absolutely love this couple and was so happy to see Storm get his happy ending. He had a terrible life including his childhood, everyone he loved either abandoned or was taken away from him. Jasmine was such a sweetheart, kind hearted and so very naive but very stubborn, I loved her. You are in for one rollercoaster ride of a book. There are so many twists and turns and believe me you never see them coming. Some stories you can kind of guess the outcome or what's going to happen but in this book the author kept you guessing the entire time. I absolutely loved this book and highly recommend it.
For those long time readers of this MUST READ series, we all knew this book was going to be hard. But surprise surprise in true fashion by this talented author it is not in the way we probably all go in thinking. Trust me it still hits just as hard, especially when bombshell after bombshell get thrown at the young pair. Do they finally get to defy the odds or has life and conniving wrongdoers ruined any chance of happiness? Grab your tissues and dive in to find out.
