Colt and Hadley meet on the set of the new film. They instantly rub each other the wrong way…and somehow, in all the right ways, too. He knows that he shouldn't get involved with a woman who is destined for stardom, but he finds himself ignoring his own sound advice after sharing one sensual night in her bed.

When strange accidents begin to happen on set that slowly morphs into something more sinister, Colt finds that he might be more like his father than he ever thought possible. He'll do whatever is necessary to ensure Hadley's safety, even if it costs him his life.

Aspiring actress Hadley Cooper’s excited her big break, a mini-series on the capture of infamous serial killer, Wade Bryson, will include meeting the woman she’ll portray. Hadley’s distracted when her card’s declined as she buys breakfast. The very handsome customer behind her surprisingly, reaches around and pays for her meal, Hadley’s stunned and wonders all day if he’s an actor hoping she’d be impressed and complained to her roommate later.

Colt Wright is still wondering if he was out of line helping the woman in the coffee shop when he gets a call from his dad, Logan, asking if he’d ensure the approved script and filming of their story is until he and Ava arrive. On the first workday, Hadley and Colt are across the table peeking at each other, remembering meeting the coffee shop. Awkwardly they talk about it while trading glances and smiles at each other and start building a friendship.

There’s trouble on the set as fans of Bryson protest the filming across from the studio and firecrackers are lit in trash cans. When a fire on set shuts them down a few days. Colt invites Hadley to visit his family tempting her with access to his mom, she agrees. Returning to work, Hadley’s hurt on set and there are far too many suspects.

Colt Wright has made an name for himself, no not as a lawman, as a psychologist. Colt would never consider himself a hero, his father Logan was a hero and so were the men he worked with. So when his father asks him to oversee production on the set of the miniseries about how Logan apprehended two serial killers, Colt does it with no questions asked.
Hadley has been waiting for her big break and playing Ava Wright just might be it. She's worked hard auditioning and landing this role was a dream come true. Even though Hadley is gun shy, she and Colt hit it off and begin seeing each other.
Reliving the past would be hard on the entire family, extended family included, and at this point in time the truth needed to be told. When mishaps on the set begin to occur, the Wright family bands together. Apparently the apple doesn't fall too far from the tree because just like Logan's always taken care of Ava, Colt finds it impossible not to protect Hadley.
FANTASTIC READ!!! I love all these awesome characters!! I absolutely love all things Logan & Ava, so I could not wait for Colt's book and I can't wait for Brianna's either!!!

CJA 2.0 makes a splash. Now that they are adults, the children of the originals are making their mark. Logan and Ava's son Colt has become a "character consultant " in Hollywood. When the long-awaited movie about his dad's pursuit of a famed serial killer is ready to shoot, Colt steps in to help as a real life reference since his parents are delayed. He meets a young actress who is playing his mother and finds that she is the same woman he'd met in a coffee shop and was anxious to see again. Unfortunately, trouble in the form of unexplained accidents happens, jeopardizing the film. Someone has to solve it, and the Logan family goes to work. Hadley loves the Logan family and their friends and is happily waiting to become one!

I just loved this story! Colt is the son of Logan Wright and is so much like him. No, he doesn't have the same career, but when he falls, it is hard and fast. Hadley is just amazing. While she has times when she lashes out at the wrong people, she owns up to her mistakes and is going to be an amazing partner to Colt, like Ava is to Logan. I loved seeing some of the original people again and see life going on for all. The ending, like after the main story, is going to blow your mind! I can't wait to see what happens next!

I loved this book - Colt is right up there with my other favourite Logan!

Great story, kept me guessing although I did have the person on my list of suspects but not high on the list!

Can't wait for the next in the series - that will be a blast.

Once again this author has given the reader an adrenaline filled romantic suspense as a cold case of his dad's becomes Colt's present putting new friend and love interest Hadley, an actress playing the part of Colt's mother in a film, in danger. Couldn't put it down.

I have loved this series & how Olivia aged the kids & told their love stories along the way as adults! Another good murder mystery & can’t wait for #17 to come out about Lulu! I’m hoping it has more or where the kids are at in their grown up lives.
