TRJUN
When I charged the enemy to rescue a ravishing female who caught my eye, I didn’t expect the mate bond to drop me to my knees. Captured, I’m locked behind electrified bars in a genetic lab where a researcher throws the female into my cell and demands we reproduce.

I vow to do everything in my power to make my little mate happy, but I won’t claim her until I extricate us from this cruel prison. Once we’re free, she can have anything she wants from me so long as she doesn’t want me to let her go.

BRIANNA

Once, I was a golden child. The perfect accessory for my parents’ social climbing. Then their prospects soured, and they sent me to Utopia. Betrayed by everyone, I gave up on life and love. Then I was thrown in a prison cell with a red-hot alien demon, the first being to ever truly protect me. I don’t understand his growls and snarls, but inside the curve of Trjun’s wings, I do know I am safe.

Teamwork and a bit of luck help us escape the secret lab, and with the sun on my face, I swear I’ll never live for anyone but myself again. But one look at Trjun and I want throw caution to the wind. Do I dare stay safe in his arms forever?

A Monster’s Love is a sci-fi alien romance with a growly hero, lots of action, and an HEA, guaranteed. This series has dystopian themes.

Great plot and lots of action!

The following ratings are out of 5:
Romance: 💜🩷💙💚❤️
Heat/Steam: 🔥🔥🔥
Story/Plot: 📕📗📙📘
World building: 🌏🌍🌎🌎
Character development: ☹️😍😋😤😍
Narration: 🎙🎙🎙🎙🎙
Narration Type: Dual Narration

The Hero: Trjun - he wakes up in a cell with two others. He was training in a mountain valley with other Kadrixan warriors, and there were human females there. He had no idea how he got from there to an electrified cell, with a Vokeiran male and a female in the males' arms. A female came to give them food and was speaking to them in Spanish, so the guards wouldn’t understand. He remembers running in the desert after a bunch of humans. He saw a female with dark hair and dark eyes; he knew right away that she was his mate. When he ran into the group, he grabbed his mate and fell to his knees and was taken captive.

The heroine: Brianna - she is one of the human women in the facility where research was taken place. She was angry and had stopped caring. Her body wasn’t hers anymore, since she went from being a worker to a test subject. Her body was owned by Novovida Military and Exotech Pharmaceuticals. She was sent to Utopia by her family and became a nurse when she first arrived.

The Story: At one point Bri was turned into test subject 0426 of the Utopian outpost. She hated what they were doing; breeding experiments with the local alien races, trying to make super-soldiers because humans die too easily. Brianna knew the only way out was to take out their tracker and make a run for it and try to avoid the robo-hounds and nano-murder bots. Though that was as dicey as it sounds.

Bri was taken to a gladiator-like arena where the demon-like male who had tried to kidnap her out in the desert was now fighting a huge dangerous beast. The male refused to kill the beast, and Doctor Kingsley ordered the guard to kill the beast. The Alien killed the guard and stole his weapon but was put out with knock out gas. The Doctor and all the researchers see guards, nurses, and test subjects as disposable. They were putting Brianna in with the alien man who looked like demons of old. They want the females to make a baby or die trying.

Like the first few books, this one had a great plot. This book went further into what was going on with the humans and how their society is set up. It really dives deep into the brutal realities of human experimentation, power struggles, and survival, making the stakes feel even higher. Brianna’s arc is especially compelling—her transition from nurse to unwilling test subject adds layers of anger and defiance that contrast well with Trjun’s honor and instinctual protectiveness.

The way society is structured in this world—the rich exploiting the poor through terrifying experiments—is a chilling yet intriguing theme that has been gradually unfolding in the series. It’s satisfying to finally get more insight into the Utopia project, considering how much mystery surrounded it in earlier books.

The audiobook is told in two points of view in dual narration. Wen Ross and Kai Kennicott narrated. Both of these narrators are good; they have nice voices and are expressive. Definitely voice actors, not just readers, which is a must as far as I am concerned. Wen Ross has a nice, deep voice that I really liked. They did a great job on this book and narrate this entire series. And dual narration. That always brings so much depth to the storytelling. Wen Ross and Kai Kennicott have such strong presence, adding emotion and immersion, making the characters feel even more real.

Trjun (H), a Kadrixan warrior, is captured after his mate bond kicks in when he touches Brianna (h), a woman conscripted into serving as an attendant at the facility and then forced into participating in the genetic experimentation. The pair are expected to breed with one another as the facility attempts to create human-alien hybrids, but Trjun only wants to get Brianna to safety. After a group of breaking out of the facility, the groups turns to the settlement where the humans and Kadrixans reside, but they’re not out of danger yet and there’s lots more action and adventure. Plenty of ultra-hot and steamy sexy action as Trjun tries to get Brianna to accept him, their bond, and his nest. Lovely hot and steamy alien fated mates romance – can’t go wrong with an alien with wings, horns and a tail.

Written by Lynnea Lee, The Kadrixan Mate series takes place on a planet called Vokira, which was settled by humans from Earth and Kadrixans from Kadri. The humans lived on one continent, inside a settlement called Nova Vita (and created a new settlement called Utopia, but those who went there were never heard from again) and the Kadrixans lived across the ocean on their own continent. There were also tribes of natives spread out called Vokirens. All of Vokira’s inhabitants traded among one another respectfully, staying out of each other’s way. Nova Vita was set up like hunger games, in the sense that the wealthy lived in the center and thrived whereas the poor lived on the outskirts and were over taxed and underfed. It was super easy to get arrested, where the poor humans would be forced to choose between going to Utopia (where they never came back), or to the Kadrixans during their rut (and possibly come back). The Kadrixans that settled on Vokira were exiled from their home planet of Kadri for defying their Empress's orders to kill innocent farmers. Living peaceful lives on Vokira, they traded Nova Vita supplies in exchange for sexually compatible females to slake their rut, which was a short span in the spring where the Kadrixan devils HAD to fuck. I say “devils” because that is exactly what they look like; red skin, horns, tails, dark wings, etc. They also emit pheromones which sooth and arouse their females, among other things. The females who came to the Kadrixan settlement had the choice to return to Nova Vita after the rut, but most didn't because of the comfortable living conditions.

Written in first person, A Monster’s Love is book 3 in this series, and follows Trjun and his human mate Brianna.

Brianna was a business major from Nova Vita before she was forced to work as a nurse at Utopia by her own parents. She went from reluctant worker to test subject after an act of rebellion. Working under Dr. Kingsley, who was funded by Nova Vita military and Exotech Pharmaceuticals, she was known as subject 0426, which was her Utopian citizen number.

Trjun was part of a rescue operation, sent to free humans from Utopia. He got captured after he went back for Brianna, who didn't make it out during the rescue. He was placed inside a prison cell with Brianna, expected to procreate for Dr. Kingsley's science experiments.

The two escaped, freed the other captives, then returned to the new human settlement in Kadrixan territory that was being ran by Chris and Mark. Unfortunately, someone was sabotaging the new settlement, rigging death traps and poisoning the water. They eventually discovered who the culprits were; Kadrixans that were working with the Utopia investors in exchange for travel back to Kadri. They planned on revealing the location of the exhiles and their stolen war vessels to the Empress in hopes of getting back in her good graces.

The couple finally came together and had sex for the first time in chapter 17 at the 56% mark, which was better than the last book, but still too long to wait for the raunch. Anytime after the 47% mark is "too long" in my opinion. It's dangling the cheese for so long that it molds, and the cheese is no longer desired. Trjun refused to mate with her until they were in his nest, which he had the best one so far. The tension and buildup leading to their first intercourse was perfectly balanced. Brianna had brought forth Trjun's mate bond upon their first touch, which brought him to his knees and was the ultimate reason why they were captured by the Utopians.

While I know it’s never good to judge a book by its cover, the cartoon cover is what kept me from reading this series sooner. I can’t necessarily say this particular book was good or bad, just different. I found some parts extremely boring, and wound up speed reading my way through the lulls. I enjoyed the alien devil aspect, and the romance scenes were fire once they actually came into play. I recommend this read, if you are like me and this kind of romance novel is up your alley.

Omg these books just get better and better and what is really happening inside Utopia with the humans and other aliens that have gone missing. Trjun is a kadrixan male that ona mission to save the humans but ends up getting captured instead and is now trapped inside a cage with the female who he has been looking for and now looking around there are plenty of cages with humans with different aliens. Brianna (Bree) is a human that ends up at Utopia after her parents sent her there because they couldn’t control her anymore and her job there was to be a nurse to the pregnant women who are just experiments by Dr Kingsley as is everyone around her and if you upset the Dr you end up being his new experiment and that’s what happens to Bree and now she is in a cage with a huge red demon male and when the Dr comes in to see them all does she find out that her purpose is, she is to get pregnant to the demon and when they check the female for a pregnancy he is disappointed but makes them give her more hormones but what the Dr didn’t see was that the nurse with him used her own blood mean that in fact the human was pregnant and would be taken away if he new. Just then the demon wakes up and pushes her behind him and the just Dr smiles at them both with a knowing look. They need to escape this place before anything more happens them and with the help from the nurse it could work. Soon they are putting there plan into action and taking out the guards is the first part then the doors and now the alarm has been activated and they all flee into the desert before they send out the drones and the other mechanical machines to capture or kill them they make to the forest before a sand storm hits and they find a place to take cover or they won’t survive. Trjun and Bree find a hollow tree to hide in just as the others have and begin so close to Trjun has there hot chemistry burning between them and when the storm hits so does there passion and Trjun gives his mate all the pleasure she can take but won’t claim her as his mate until the are back at his mountain home and I can take her to my aerie that I built for her. How does it all turn out for everyone involved and does Brianna except Trjun claim. Loved this book.

Finding your special someone in the middle of a rescue mission can be problematic when an aspect of finding your mate is involuntarily dropping to your knees. Which is how Trjun is captured by the overseers of one of the Utopia outposts. On the plus side, he found his mate. They just happen to be locked up in a place that conducts not-so-ethical experiments on people.

No worries, though, because the Kadrixan warriors are good at getting out of tight spots. Probably not literal tight spots because they're big dudes with wings. But a cell? NO PROBLEM. Especially when they have the added motivation of making sure their special someone makes it out with them.

On Brianna's end, she's only heard the propaganda the human colony spews about the Kadrixans. So she's wary of Trjun at first. Then she gets locked in a cell with him and sees he's a better person than the doctor and guards in charge of their prison. Soon they're breaking out and heading to the stronghold with a few others in tow. But gaining their freedom is only the beginning since there are still plenty of other people stuck in Utopia.

Only one bed, a little communication issue to work around, dangerous situations, enhanced humans (and animals), some steamy kisses, a warrior who will do anything to keep his special someone safe, and a lady who has to figure herself out after being a prisoner for so long. *thumbs up*

Better and Better!

Brianna was a human raised in Nova Vita . When she didn’t live up to her parent’s expectations, they sent her to Utopia. No one really knows what goes on there but no one ever returns. She started out as a nurse but became test subject #0462 and is now a prisoner. She is Dr. Kingsley’s next victim for his breeding experiments. While she is being transported to another lab with other human prisoners, they are attacked, and all the humans but her and one other male were taken. Some people have no luck!

Trjun is escorting a group of humans from the new human settlement as they are trying to free a group of human prisoners from Utopia being moved to another lab. They free all but two. Trjun is just lending support to help them retreat when he smells the most amazing smell. He cloaks himself and goes in to try and rescue the female that has triggered his mating response. Unfortunately, as soon as he touches her, he collapses to his knees and his cloaking coat comes off. He is shot and captured.

Follow Brianna and Trjun as he attempts to escape and keep her safe. But even if they can escape, will the evil Dr. Kingsley ever give up searching for her? An excellent book. Action, humor and love!.

Brianna was born in a human colony in a far away world. She was betrayed by her family and sent to a dystopian prison masquerading as a futuristic Utopia in a secret compound away from their colony. While being transported to a desert lab, a group of rebels and Kadrixan warriors attempted to rescue the prisoners in the transport she was in. When Trjun, one of the Kadrixans, attempts to pick her up to take her to safety, his ‘mate-dar’ (it’s a whole thing, you have to read the story to get a better understanding) is triggered and he falls on his knees before her. That, of course, gives the bad guys a prime opportunity to knock him out and take him prisoner. From that point on, it was one action packed moment after another as they tried to break out of prison and get to safety and their HEA.

The main conflict for this couple was whether Brianna would accept Trjun as her mate once she got to be a free woman for the first time in her life. She did not want to be controlled by another person ever again.

I liked both main characters and the story. It was a great addition to the series. The series is worth reading from the beginning but not necessary to understand the flow of the story.

The third book in the Kadrixan Mates series follows the fate of Trjun and Brianna. While trying to rescue human prisoners, a warrior meets his true mate, which leads to his capture. Incarcerated, he is subjected to experiments by a mad scientist. Brianna is placed in his cell as a breeding partner.
I liked the creation of the main characters and how the author led their relationship. Brianna turned out to be a strong woman who was not afraid to fight injustice. Trijun has long dreamed of finding a true mate. He knew that human females were different from those of his species, so when preparing his nest he focused on the comfort of his mate, instead of flaunting his wealth. Since Brianna did not know the truth about warriors, he tried to do everything to woo her. I liked the dynamics between the characters. The story also had a good pace.
There were some interesting themes in the book as well. Unfortunately, in my opinion, their potential was not exploit. I would prefer the idea of pairing a woman with more than one worrior to be more developed. The same goes for Igor. He could have been a great asset to the human colony and in my opinion his potential was wasted.

Trjun and Bree find themselves held captive by a maniacal doctor in a cage with electrified bars. The crazy doctor is trying to force human women to get pregnant by alien warriors to create malleable super soldiers.

I enjoyed the story, but I wasn’t as enthralled with the storyline as I was in the first book in the series. It was entertaining, but so much of the story was focused on the sabotage occurring at the human settlement. While I’m not a fan of lots of angst in the romances I read, in this case, the romance between Bree and Trjun was almost too smooth. They had a slightly rocky introduction because of the myths and stories about Kradxian warriors that had her apprehensive about being caged up with him, while simultaneously being very attracted to him physically. They have barely any disagreement throughout the story with one minor exception about a video of her he doesn’t want released due to concerns with her safety.

The world building in the series is very interesting and the author makes you feel like you are experiencing this alien planet firsthand. Overall, this is an entertaining read with some sizzling alien/human scenes.

4&1\2terrific 🌟s for A Monster's love!💖🔥💖🔥

I really enjoy this series. The world building is great and the characters have good chemistry. Trjun tried to rescued a human female at the end of the last book and was captured by the human scientists from Utopia. He wakes in a cell and immediately starts to plan on how to get out with his mate. Heather is a nurse or a female forced into the program and told she was going into be a nurse. They through her into a cell with a Kadrixan warrior and she is sure that he's going to killed her. What she finds is the one being who treats her with kindness and respect. She realizes early on that she's been lied to about more than the Utopia project. She and Trjun work together along with a few others to escape and get everyone out of the lab unharmed. They don't is danger and new intrigue other forces at work that don't want the Kadrixan to be happy with there human mates. And yoUrs that and Trjun are now helping to solve a new mystery. There is love passion danger and the perfect amount of new angst to make this a perfect weekend read! I can't wait to see where the author takes us next!🔥💖🔥💖🔥💖🔥💖💖🔥💖🔥🔥💖🔥💖🔥💖🔥💖🔥🔥 highly recommend!

Kadrixan warrior Trjun and human Brianna are thrown together by the local mad scientist who hopes they'll reproduce as part of his plan to create super soldiers. Pretty much the usual drill, except Trjun has let himself get captured because he knows Brianna is his fated mate. Fairly predictably, they escape, along with more unwilling test subjects, and they manage to return to safety in a mixed human-alien settlement. There's some underlying distrust among the various species which needs to be overcome to thwart the efforts of the bad guys (i.e., the corporation and its investors who are sponsoring the evil scientist). Overall, I wasn't swept up in the story, although there were a few humorous moments due to the infelicities of Trjun's translation program. There was a bigger political picture regarding the relationship among the humans and their two alien neighbors, plus something about human haves v. have nots, but I didn't follow it too well, and didn't find it intriguing enough to reread and pin down the details.

Another great addition to the sci-fi romance series from Lynnea Lee. AND each story gets better... and with more action, angst & steam!

This is the third book in Kadrexan Mates series. While it can be read as a stand-alone, the previous books give you some insight to their world & all the characters.

𝙃𝙚𝙧𝙤/𝙃𝙚𝙧𝙤𝙞𝙣𝙚 = Trjun and Brianna
𝙎𝙩𝙖𝙣𝙙𝙖𝙡𝙤𝙣𝙚 = Yes. This is part of a series, each featuring a different couple.
𝘾𝙡𝙞𝙛𝙛𝙝𝙖𝙣𝙜𝙚𝙧 = No
𝙏𝙝𝙚𝙢𝙚(𝙨) = Alien Romance ♥ Sci-Fi / Paranormal Romance ♥ Fated mates ♥ Captured & Prisoners ♥ Quick Read ♥ Forced Proximity ♥ Suspense ♥ ♥ Dual POVs
𝙏𝙧𝙞𝙜𝙜𝙚𝙧(𝙨): Sexual Content ♥ Fighting to Death ♥ Experimentation ♥
𝙃𝙚𝙖𝙩 𝙇𝙚𝙫𝙚𝙡 = 🔥🔥🔥
𝙎𝙩𝙖𝙧 𝙍𝙖𝙩𝙞𝙣𝙜 = ⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️

During a mission to rescue human prisoners, Trjun meets a young lady... and as soon as he touches her (Brianna), the mate bond kicks in... which timing wise, not the best time! This leads to his capture.
They are both thrown into a cell in Utopia and are expected to "breed" and help create human-alien hybrids. Trjun refuses to claim her like this and give in to their demands... He knows he must do whatever he can to keep her safe & happy. The two work together to escape.

Trjun is an alien warrior exiled with his Champion and fellow warriors. When he finds his mate on a rescue mission, he ends up being captured.

Brianna is human, when her family turns her over to the Colony's new Utopia project, she never suspected she'd become part of illegal human experimentation.

Trjun has been preparing for a mate from the moment they landed on this planet. They may start with a language barrier but his protective, caring nature comes through even if he looks like a demon from Earth lore.

Brianna has been managed and has tried to please everyone her whole life. Once she's found freedom, she's not sure she is willing to give it up to mate but giving up Trjun is not an option either.

Each story in this series gets better than the last. I enjoyed watching these two getting to know each other, working together and falling in love. A sweet alien romance with a slice of evil government and mad scientist shenanigans

What a fantastic story! I am thoroughly enjoying this series of the Kadrixan warriors and their mates. Trjun is a warrior who was working with the human settlement and he was on a mission to discover the whereabouts of a female at the Utopian Institute where they were doing experiments on people to create a super army. When he was on the rescue mission, he discovered his mate and her name was Brianna. I loved that Brianna was a strong female, who didn’t take garbage from anybody, when she found herself in the cell with Trjun, she learned that the doctor wanted her to be a part of the experiment. I love how they worked together to get out of the cells and were able to rescue the other people who were part of the experiment. The story was very involved but awfully exciting as well as extremely hot. You wouldn’t be disappointed. If you read this book, it has all the elements of an exciting adventure. I highly recommend reading it.

Trjun just knew that one of the females they were rescuing was his mate. What a time to discover it! He had worked hard, traded and planned to get his nest just right for her and she was being taken from him. This would not do, it would not happen until it did. One minute he was fighting and the next he woke in a cell, apparently the newest volunteer in some dememted Dr's experiment. Brianna had thought that wokring hard would get a decent job and she would be safe from Utopia or the dire alternative. It seems that was not the case and she finds herself doing her best to keep her head down and above water at the same time. She is aware that very unethical things are happening around her and she is trying to be as inconspicuous as she can. Something that has worked until now but her luck is at an end. She is tossed into a cell with a human-eating monster but is he really? All the tales she has been told would point that way and yet something starts to tell her that this might not be the truth? Will she live long enough to escape him? Will she want to when freedom is within her grasp?

Brianna has been living in Utopia since her parents had her committed there. She didn't live up to their expectations and they got her fired from her job making her dependant on them. At first her life wasn't miserable. They made her into a nurse and she helped with some of their research. However the Doctor's determination to build an army of super soldiers that could be controlled by him has gotten out of hand. Brianna is made one of the test subjects and pumped with fertility drugs. She is thrown into the cell with a Kadrixan called Trjun who insists that they are mates. Somehow the two will have to escape before the doctor is successful.

Trjun went on a raid to attack a Utopian shuttle. He is shocked to find his mate a prisoner on board. His reaction to touching her brought him to his knees and got him captured. Now he has to figure out a way to rescue both of them before they can be truly mated.

This review is more about this book being about an adventure than a romance.
Trjun is captured along with other aliens and humans and is determined to escape. He was captured trying to save the human he believes is his fated mate, Brianna.
The adventure takes the pair and their co-captives through a deadly desert and jungle. They have to deal with a horrible storm as well as the Nova Vitas killer technology hunting them. Awaiting them at the settlement is more strife because someone has been sabotaging things throughout the settlement.
As for as this being a romance, there was not much heat between the pair. Trjun seemed a lot more into Brianna than she was into him. It was more like she was going along because he was the best/only option. The author did not put that much effort into writing about their romance. There was the one scene when he first took her to his nest and then the reader is told that they spent a few days there.

Breanna has been thrown in a cell with Trjun, a Kadrixan in Utopia. Dr Kingsley is using her to breed babies that they can use a soldiers. There is another couple, a human, Maya, and a Vokiren, Aak. They needed to escape and rescue everyone else. But even if they do escape they will always be hunted as Dr Kingsley is determined to carry on with his experiments. During all this Trjun knows that Brianna is his mate and he will do whatever it takes to protect her. With intrigue, betrayal, determination and love this addition to the series will have you hooked from beginning to end. Including characters from the first two in the series, their determination to survive and carve out new lives will send you on a rollercoaster of emotions.

This is a wonderful series. Each book is unique. I liked this one because even after Trjun and Brianna find each other and recognize that they belong together. (The chemistry between them was of the charts) there is still a story to be told. It doesn't end with their HEA but continues , so we get more of the background story revealed.
Lots of action , steamy romance and of course the mystery continues with Utopia and Dr. Kingsley.
I liked Igor. He added to the story in a good way, even though he was with the Dr.
We learn more about the other races on the planet . What their thoughts about the humans are.
Well written with just the right amount of suspense and action to keep you wanting more. Can't wait for the next Kadrixan to find his mate .

I really like this series and have read the other book in it. This book does have enough information provided that it can be enjoyed as a standalone, but I do recommend the other books in the series. They are so good!

Trjun wakes up in a facility, having been captured while he and some others were trying to free humans from Utopia, a testing facility. He was taken because he became incapacitated upon finding his true mate, Brianna.

Doctors want to create hybrids in their facility and think Trjun and Brianna will make excellent test subjects. To this end, they pump Brianna full of medications.

When an opportunity arises to escape, will Trjun and Brianna still feel the same attraction? And, more importantly, does Brianna even want to be mated?.

Forced Together

Trjun and Brianna are captured by scientists who want them to reproduce. Trjun is a Kadrixan, big and muscular alien with red skin and horns. Brianna is a human woman and Trjun mate.

Forced together, Trjun swears to protect his mate and rescue them from this situation. He just hopes that once they’re free she will stay with him as mates.

This was an exciting and thrilling story with action, danger and adventure. Some very steamy moments between the two main characters and a satisfying HEA.

Now while this story can be read as a standalone, I do suggest reading the entire series because it has reoccurring themes and connecting storylines. The other stories are really good as well and the entire series is very enjoyable. I definitely recommend this book as well as the whole series.

When I charged the enemy to rescue a ravishing female who caught my eye, I didn’t expect the mate bond to drop me to my knees. Captured, I’m locked behind electrified bars in a genetic lab where a researcher throws the female into my cell and demands we reproduce.
Really good read. I liked Brianna and Trjun. I loved the cover. 4*.

I liked this book but didn't love it, don't get me wrong the world building is happening and subplot is expanding and I preferred the 2 MCs this time to the others that I had read from this series BUT, there is still something not quite right for me. I can't put my finger on it but I am not as engaged as I have been with Lynnea's Xarc'n series that grabbed me from the first book. I would like to give this one 3.5 as I said the world building is coming along nicely and the subplot in the background really looks like it may expand quite nicely I will continue with the series and hope that I can really get into it as the books come out and the story evolves.

This was another story of a Kadrixan Mate. Trjun is a Kadrixan warrior who is going to save a female. He's surprised when the mate bond gets him captured and locked in a cage with the same female and told to reproduce. Brianna ends up getting put into the same cell as Trjun. She finds that she's safe inside his wings and he protects her even though she doesn't understand anything he says. The story is action packed as Trjun and Brianna fight to get free, get away from robotic dogs, drones, cyborgs, traitors, and a mad scientist. The storyline was pretty good and the characters have great steam. I did enjoy the story and the series.

All "Monsters" Are Not the Same . . .

Trjun is a Kadrixan warrior who chose to rescue humans being used by scientists for their “studies”. While engaging in a rescue, Trjun discovers his mate Brianna. The Kadrixan response to a mate is to initially fall to the knees which incapacitates him long enough to be captured. Both he and Brianna are put in a cage to breed. Because he now must protect his mate, he does not immediately claim her or escape until he has a plan to keep her from harm.

When they finally do escape, she realizes that Trjun is the only one who ever watched out for her welfare. Will Brianna choose to walk away from him once they are free? Or will she choose to remain safe in his arms and wrapped in his love?

A compelling story that grabs you right from the start! This is a series that you're going to want to read! It's full of action and loaded with characters that you'll want to follow. The scenarios are exciting and easy to imagine happening. I mean, in a dystopian future society, it really is not that much of a stretch of the imagination to think that the rich would take advantage of the poor to such an extreme... well...okay, lol, the alien parts are kind of extreme, but, that just makes it fun to read, and who's to say that it couldn't also happen either, lol? Great book, you have to read it!

Although it can be read as a standalone this is the third book in the Kadrixan series.Trjun is captured trying to rescue Brianna who is being held captive in an experimental laboratory. The story of their escape and subsequent relationship is a real page turner full of suspense, excitement and,of course, sexy romance.A really good book if read alone but I can recommend reading the two previous books as there is intricate world building involving three different species, including humans, as well as two great romances of characters who also appear in this book. I'm looking forward to the next one.

Brianna has only heard awful things about the Kadrixians. So to have Trjun be captured while trying to rescue her makes her reassess what she's been lead to believe. Not to mention the connection that she feels with him. Trjun knows that Brian he's his mate and is determined to get them away from the labs and prove to her that she's the perfect mate for him. What a great storyline! I can't believe that on top of the sweet romance and danger that they encounter trying to escape that there's still another twist in the story that is unexpected. So much fun!.

Trjun reached out to Bree in an attempt to rescue her and promptly fell to his knees, briefly incapacitated. This is the sign she is his mate. But they both were captured. Trjun woke up in a cell and later Bree was thrown in too. Being unable to communicate was rough but the stories Bree had heard of Trjun's race made it so much worse.
This is the beginning of an absorbing tale that I found hard to set down. The world building and character development is amazing and I got involved very quickly in the story. There is danger, fear, learning to communicate and trust, angst, new friends, and plot twists to keep you on edge till the very end.
