After reading Within her magic last year, I was eager to read more about Lileth. I adored Lileth, super fierce, beautiful, and a fighter. I loved the world-building. N Dune has a way of writing her fantasy books that pulls you into her world. I don't generally read fantasy or paranormal books, but this series and its characters have won me over. The book had its funny parts, as well as it, been action-packed and emotional, and the steam, the shower scene, IYKYK. It could have set me on fire; it was that hot. The angst of finding Lileths brother made me turn the pages, eager to see if she'd find them. I love that it's written in the UK and British cities are mentioned. I look forward to the next book of the series.

I was desperate for more of this world after reading the first book and N Dune didn’t disappoint.
I found myself back wrapped in this world instantly and didn’t want to leave. I love the world that has been created.
We have already met Lileth in Within Her Magic and I’m so glad we are getting more of her story. Her bond with her mates is amazing which leads to plenty of steamy scenes.
As always with this series the plot had plenty of twists and turns and I was hooked, there was heartache and pain and questions that will leave you desperate for more.
I’m glad we got to see more of the characters we fell for in book 1 and I can’t wait to see what comes next for them all.

To say that I was excited to go back to this world that N. Dune has created is an understatement. I have been waiting for more from these characters since I read Within Her Magic last year. So many characters were introduced in that story and thank the heavens they kept talking to her because we got another great book out of it.

Lils, Ana, Hunter, and Oren are found mates. Having all formed this bond together they are inseparable...or so they thought. The very dark magic they thought was removed from their lives is in fact still around and closing in on them.

I have to say I did not see the story line going the way that it did and I was all about it. These four characters had me intrigued when they were first introduced in the last book. To see this wolf, vampire, witch, and fae combo stick together like glue was amazing. Then all heck broke lose and their dynamics drastically changed.

Lils, Ana, and Hunter are amazing together. The love they share is so beautiful and proves they are mates in every single way except fated. Lils seems to be the glue that holds them all together. Ana and Hunter are both drawn to her so much. Each of them brings excellent strengths to the trio therefor resulting me feeling sorry for every single person that tried to cross them. Their bond is unbreakable.

So many times N. Dune had my heartbeat racing because of situations these characters found themselves in. Of course things eventually calmed down and we get to see favorite characters from the first book (I see you Kayden and Merissa) and learn somethings about them as well. There definitely is not a shortage of them and it is honestly not hard to love them all and want more from them, which has already been stated that we will. There are so many answers I hope to get in the coming books and will sit here trying to patiently wait for N. Dune to get them to me.

I love this reality... I know my husband would say the same thing he does for every other dystopian future world we discuss and that's usually... whatever event caused the drastic change in the world I would either not survive or I would get caught by whatever creature is the villain and feasts on humans.

I like to think I'd evolve and develop the ability to shift or have magic which is why this series appeals to me!

I adore the dynamics between Lil, Ana and Hunter; I live for the moments we get to catch up with Daddy Kayde (more please!) and I am feeling super protective over Eilam as a new introduction in this book - so much so I messaged the author via Instagram whilst reading to chat about my fav new introduction!

You need to have a good awareness of how 'Within Her Magic' ended as this book picks up from the end of the first book - if you're not quite sure, re-read Within before starting Surrounded and it will boost your enjoyment because you will be invested in the characters.

I look forward to seeing the physical copy of Surrounded on my shelf next to Within to keep the pack together.

Throughly deserved its 5 stars! And then some.

Now where to start. A good place would probably be the authors trigger warning intro that states 'This is called a dark paranormal fantasy for a reason. Things that may concern you are the lack of morals my characters have, there constant need to have sex, their language, and their violence'

And yes indeed all of that is true!!

So if that doesnt convince you to read this book, then this book probably isnt for you. BUT, if however your first thought was HELL YEAH!! WHERE DO I GET THIS!! Then read on.

Surrounded, follows Lileth, a shifter (who we met in book 1) and her 3 Mates as they battle dark forces.

Hunter, a nerdy male witch.
Ana, a female vampire.
Oren, a male Fae.

You see where this is going right! LOTS, (AND LOTS AND LOTS) of spice in this book. (Including group and dubious / non consensual so do check triggers)

There is also a fantastic plot, driven, strong MCs (we get to meet some of those again from WHM), found family, danger, and all kinds of magickal paranormal twists.

I loved this book, spice, violence, language and all. It's most definitely NOT for the faint hearted. But it is perfect for fans of dark spicy fantasy.

The way it was told from the multiple POV of the 4 MCS works really well. Seeing where this story went was captivating and the characters are well written, likeable and a fun mix. I loved that this book gives Lilith and co their own story.

And that it looped around to draw back to characters and events in book 1. (Trying not to give to much away) but this book is OMG brilliant!

Does it end on a cliffhanger? Of course!!

Am I in shock?? Absolutely.

Do I need more? For sure!

Having loved WITHIN HER MAGIC, I had wanted a sequel and finally got it. Boy, this another level compared to within her and I love this magic, paranormal fantasy. This is totally my kind of book. Won't spoil but this is definitely a good read and I already want more.

This book started as it meant to go on with plenty of action, drama, humour, mystery and twists. Kept me thoroughly invested. I enjoyed the world building as it was easy to follow.

Lilith was a likeable character and I really enjoyed how each of her mates brought a diffident dynamic to their group further strengthening their bond.

Yes! I'm so happy there was a book 2 and more to come. The character and world building are amazing. You really get to know each person, and you become a part of their tribe. The emotional connection you develop for these characters is ridiculous. lol you laugh at their quirky jokes and your heartbreaks right alongside them

Like within her magic, there are dark elements that I really enjoy. They are not for everyone, so mind the content/trigger warnings ⚠️

Oren....OK I get he's got his fated mate, but tbh Meghan is uggh. I kinda wanted to punch her in the throat. I feel bad for Oren, and I would have loved to see him reunite and become a part of what they originally thought the connection was. Obviously, there would be some trauma considering Caleb used his body and face, but I deff could see there being an underlying connection between the 4 of them.

The battles and fights are excitingly written. They deff can keep you at the edge of your seat.

The last thing to add is that I think we can all appreciate the subtle remembrances of Rogue. ❤️. I love that his memory still carries on.

Can't wait for book 3. Would love to see some mm mmf or even more mmff.

N dune is deff one of my fav authors based on her PNR series right up there with Amelia hutchins and Lexi C foss, even though she only currently has 2 PNR books I felt an instant connection with her work and writing style.

Oh my gosh! I think it took an HOUR after finished Surrounded before I could breathe properly. The story of Lils, her mates...not all of it is clear. I had to put the Kindle down and absorb some of what was happening as the story unfolded. I had to give myself time to breathe and I am SO glad I did. What an amazing second book of this series (they have a LOT of sex, so if it's not your thing, be advised) but it left questions unanswered.

I want & need more!

I want Mel and Malaki's story.
I'd love Eilam's story.
I'd love Oren's story too. (The last two could be a joint novella?)

But, this is Ms Dune.
We'll get it all when they've danced out the tune in her head.

Until then, I await, impatiently, for the next installment.

I loved this sequel to Within Her Magic! Check the trigger warnings before reading because this is deliciously dark and gritty in parts, more so than the first book, in my opinion. Ndune sure knows how to write smut, and she doesn't keep you waiting before throwing you headfirst into the story. I don't want to give the plot away, but let's just say it was full of twists and turns I didn't see coming. I adore the FMCs that Ndune writes. They're strong, stubborn, and don't back down from a challenge. While I loved Lils and her mates, Eilam quickly became my favourite character, and I need more of him pronto! I can't wait to read more in this series!

A wolf, a witch, and a vampire...

With both her brothers having found their fated mates, Lileth has found herself at least 2 mates with a possible third! She just has to outdo her big brothers 😂. Unfortunately their mate bonds are tried and tested while they are still tenuous, black magic forcing them to do and witness unspeakable atrocities. On their journey to save the land from the darkness threatening to consume it, they gather allies, defeat enemies, and hope to survive.

I loved this spicy, magic filled sequel to Within Her Magic!!!

Lils and her mates were perfect for each other, each bringing something different to the relationship, and I loved how they all balanced each other out.

Plus that SPICE!!!!!! TO DIE FOR!!!

Action and magic and romance...what more can you ask for?

I forgot to breathe!

This action-packed PNR took my breathe away. I knew it would. There are still so many questions to answer, with a few resolutions revealed. This is going to be a long, but bloody fabulous series. I want the rest now, I know I do.
