I always like reading older military books as it is interesting to see how analysis done at that point in time might differ from how we see things in hindsight decades later.
I don't know enough about the subject matter of this specific book to comment on that but it was definitely a good read. It was also interesting to see how the "1973 war" was mentioned several times in the context of how newer equipment performed. I read the second edition published in 1979 while the first edition was from 1975.
