I am going to tell the truth here . I definitely did not love this book. Or like it. Or even think it was OK. Ill just say it: I hated this book. No offense to anyone who cares , but truth be told this book was so boring to me I cant even remember a bit of a poem in it. It took me so long to read this book. I couldn't get anything through my brain. But anyway, I think any age would like this book if they liked poetry. I don't read a lot of poetry books ,but I think if you like this one you might like "100 best loved poems". This book is just about celebrated poems . Random celebrated poems. Will you like this book? Read the book and see.🤗

This anthology was not what I thought it was. There were several of the classics which were nice to revisit, but perhaps too many. I was hoping for some current or more contemporary contributions.

I did not like this book at all it was so boring and not fun to read. I didn’t like this book because the poems seemed more adult like than for kids and the poems were just plain boring. If you liked this book you would like Shel Silverstein’s poem books. The reading age would be high schoolers through adults. Will you like this book? Read it to find out.

A nice collection for high school students to practice out-loud readings in either a poetry class or a drama class. Contains a good mixture of poems from different time periods, but mostly the most famous ones.
