She still loves animals and the written word. Her home is still a farm in the Australian heartland, which she shares with her husband and three sons, a thousand sheep, half a dozen horses, three dogs, an echidna and a wallaby.

This is Book #2 of Goodwin Siblings. This is the story of Chantal and Quade.
Chantal is a strong and independent woman. She is a lawyer who has always had a crush on Quade. Now he is back in town, and she still feels like the lovesick schoolgirl from before. Chantal is now a grown woman, and she wants a passion filled night with the man who captured her attention long ago.
Quade is back in town after problems with his job and his (ex)fiance. He isn't looking for any complications or anything to do with a relationship. His ex being a lawyer doesn't help matters between Chantal and Quade. He is done with "that type" of woman. He doesn't realize that Chantal is nothing like his ex, except in the type of career she has chosen.
They have a night of passion that shakes Chantal to her very center. Quade has a secret or two of his own that are brought about when the feelings he has for Chantal become more than what he expected.
I love the chemistry between Quade and Chantal. Once they share their feelings, as well as themselves, things really heat up.
