Halleigh and Malek have been through more drama in their young lives than most people will ever see. The young lovers were headed for the good life, thanks to Malek's skills on the basketball court. But fate sent them down a different path, and they were thrown into the streets of Flint, forced to survive by any means necessary. Drugs and prostitution nearly destroyed Halleigh, but she fought her way back from the brink and finally reunited with Malek. His position at the top of the drug game made him a target for jealous enemies, though, and soon the couple was ripped apart again. Malek had even more incentive to find Halleigh this time, because she was carrying his seed. Now their saga is coming to an end. Find out what happens to Halleigh and Malek in the final installment of the Flint series. Will these young lovers, separated over and over again, finally be able to live their happily ever after, or will they be swallowed up by the streets?
ATTENTION EVERYONE: THIS IS A PUBLIC ANNOUNCEMENT.... WTF!!! I JUST FINISHED READING BOOK 7 OF THE FLINT SERIES.... TREASURE HERNADEZ IS THE WORST.. HOW IN THE HELL YOU WRITE SEVEN FUCKING BOOKS ABOUT THE SAME DAMN CHARACTERS AND THEN THE LAST BOOK IN THE SERIES BE SOME BULLSHIT!!! PEOPLE PLEASE DO NOT WAST YOUR MONEY ...OR TIME READING THIS BULL~~~~REAL TALK...AUTHORS GET YOUR PLOTS TIGHT OR DON'T COME AT ALL!!!
After reading this entire series I thought Hal and Maleek would have a happy ending. I wish this series had ended better. The ending also felt rushed. This was my least favorite book in all 7 books.
Disappointing! Never write a series that long, (7) books AND not have a HEA happily ever after. The story is incomplete. The main characters did not deserve this. I will not be reading any more of your books. People need hope, hope that the streets will not always win against the innocent. I hope you rethink your endings of future stories.
Liked the whole series but this last installment didn’t do it for me. It was a different person reading the book than the rest of the series & he messed up a name of one of the main characters & that threw me off for the whole book. Didn’t like the ending either. The whole book seemed rushed.
THIS BOOK RIGHT HERE IS A WASTE OF MONEY!! FIRST OFF IN THE END LAST OF BOOK SIX IT SAID THAT HALLEIGH WAS WRITING A BOOK AND DEDICATED IT TO SCRATCH. THAT WAS NOT MENTIONED. IT ALSO ENDED BY SAYING THAT SHE WAS AT HER COMPUTER AND AND A BUTCH GIRL WAD STANDING THERE WHICH THEY MADE IT SEEM LIKE THAT PERSON WAS TOY. THAT WASN'T EVEN MENTIONED. THIS BOOK WAS SHORT ASS HELL I WAITED SO LONG TO READ THIS BOOK BUT I WAS DISAPPOINTED FROM THE BEGINNING AND END. THE WAY THEY ENDED THE BOOK WAS LIKE BLAH AND THEY USED THIS BOOK SO WE COULD BE INTERESTED A NEW BOOK THAT SHE IS COMIN OUT WITH THAT INVOLVED THE COP AND OTHER DRUG LORD THAT MALIK HAD BEEF WIT IN B-MORE. I WAS SO MAD THAT I BEAT MYSELF UP FOR BUYING THE BOOK. TO EVERYONE THAT IS THINKING ABOUT PURCHASING THE BOOK DON'T EVEN THINK ABOUT IT. LEAVE TO YOUR IMAGINATION CUZ YOU WILL BE VERY PISSED. OH SO YOU KNOW THE COPS KILLED MALIK IN DA END AND HALLEIGH KILLED TOY AND TASHA AND THE COP BLACKMAILED HER SO SHE COULD SNITCH ON MALIK CUZ SHE WAS THERE WHEN SHE KILLED DEM THE END!!!! HORRIBLE

Pissed! Went through seven books for it to end like this WTF. Only thing I did like about it was we got more info on Scar and Derek which are from the Baltimore Chronicles before this, so I can’t wait to finish that series.
These books are really short. The series could have been written with three books instead of seven. I skipped book two and felt like I didn’t miss anything. Some of the stories with in the series were left unfinished. For example, why didn’t Malek follow back up with finding Gary? He could have called the leasing agent to get some contact info on who was renting the building. He could have also gotten information from the lady that rented out her home for a month. In addition, Malek had a lawyer but the lawyer didn’t advise him to actually open legit business that he could run after he got out the game. A lot of things were unrealistic, like Malek not having a bank account and Malek giving Halleigh money to go shopping when he was broke. Another thing that didn’t make sense was Malek was skeptical about Mitch’s partner when he first put him on, why didn’t he have the same sense about Mitch. At one point he had red flags when it came to Mitch when they ran up on Sweets but why this one time he didn’t follow his instincts. In addition, he was ready to kill Mitch when he heard Halleigh’s voicemail but that situation just disappeared in the book. Why would you leave your empire to Mitch when Halleigh told you something was up with him? He didn’t even try to find out. I didn’t like the way the series ended. There could have been other ways for the book to end. Malek and Halleigh could have skipped town, Malek could have set up Scar and his brother. Why introduce all these new characters and end the series with unfinished stories? On top of that why have the police so interested in Malek when there was a bigger drug dealer in town, which seems suspicious by itself.
Man I was rather disappointed in this finale. It was spent talking more about the Baltimore brothers than malek and halleigh! The book was written week and the story was good but it was definitely did not have a series finale feel to it. It seemed more like a prequel to the Baltimore series. I can’t even blame Halleigh for the outcome, there wasn’t much she could do. But I do feel like everything that happened before was all for nothing, for it to end like this? Wowwwww it was really heartbreaking

This was my least favorite of the series. A bit disappointing actually. Since this was the finale, I wish that Hernandez didn't include new characters and drama. Instead, I was hoping for a clear resolution for the star-crossed lovers. Also, I listened to all of them. Unfortunately, the narrator of the novel pronounces the FMC's name incorrectly the entire book! Ugh, that also impacted the rating. Overall, lackluster.
Wow! After they have escaped to freedom trouble have came their way. Halleigh caught and killed Tasha and Toy and an officer put her to blackmail. Malek and Halleigh find trust in each other towards the end to help their son and Halleigh live a worry free life causing Malek to take his own life. Oh my goodness! This whole series was really good and I recommend anyone to read it, anyone who thinks they are an OG and think they are so young and notorious thinking they have nothing to loose. What they don't realize is there are throwing it away. This book series Flint is super good. This is definitely a series that should be turned into a movie with a sequel called The Baltimore Series. But it should be for an older audience. Graphic books always teaches a lesson. I just can only say wow and a million, trillion, billion, and gazillion thumbs up for Treasure Hernandez.
The 7 books up till now (including A Girl From Flint though inconsistant) were great page turners. I was cranking out a book a day and going to work, though my house was a mess. I could nt get enough and loved that it was broken into smaller books. BUT this last one "the Finale" sucked. It had so much potential. Did she run out of ideas. Bad Bad Bad finale. She could have made the Baltimore Chronicles without including Flint we would have read it anyway- Now I don't even want to.
So sad this series has ended! What a journey it was. From the very beginning with all of Malek and Halleligh's hiccups in the road.. I was just not happy with that ending. Why did I ever think it would be a HEA? It wasn't. Be prepared! Always a fan of Treasure Hernandez and so glad I took my time devouring this series. One of my favorite urban fiction authors without a doubt. It wasn't as a good as some of the other books in the series, but overall was a nice wrap up to the Flint series.
This book was wayyyy too short. She should have just combined the last two books, instead of dragging them out, and I didn't like the ending very much!
