The only thing worse than being a werewolf who can't Change is being the leader of the pack. Someone put a curse on Derek, and he has to find a way to fix it before the rest of his pack finds out he's disabled--in a manner of speaking. Liz Hastings is the perfect choice to help him find a she's a witch, and she doesn't know he's not an aspiring author researching a horror novel. Liz struggles against her attraction for the good-looking if somewhat oddball guy who's obsessed with werewolves. She doesn't trust anybody, least of all herself, and there's something not quite right with this alleged writer. Still, he's fun to be with and he's given her a challenge, and that's something she just can't pass up. The truth, she soon discovers, is even more bizarre than she'd imagined.
