The Pan: The Trials of Jonathan Darling

Rate this book
Tinkerbell, Peter Pan's headstrong slave, is tired of the violent life she is forced to live in Peter Pan's pocket. Bored with the peace that falls over the island after Peter slaughters his latest enemy, he commands Tinkerbell to bring him anither foe. Tinkerbell choses her latest prey carefully, like piecing small gears together that will drive forward her greater plan of overthrowing Peter. She returns with a ship filled with sailors that will become the legendary Captain Hook and the pirates of the Jolly Roger. Tinkerbell's plan continues when she tricks Peter into bringing the Darling children to the island. Their special traits, when combined with the strenght of Captain Hook and his scurvy dogs, should test the cruel Peter Pan and his army of Lost Boys like never before.

Friends of a friend wrote this. A very dark and violent, but captivating, retelling of the Peter Pan story. A horrible cliffhanger ending. This book will suck you in.
