Now, for the millions who look to him for inspiration, Piper offers the hope that if he could survive his ordeal after the accident, then others can survive whatever life circumstances they're going through and grow in God's love through the experience.
I didn't resonate with all he wrote, but I liked reading about God and his good deeds :D . I honestly don't think anyone is blocked from the so-called heaven just because they are not a certain religion.
Have you ever heard of the book 90 minuets in heaven? Well daily devotions is based on that event. Don Piper died for 90 minuets, and at the end of those 90 minuets a minister prayed him back to life. Don Piper comes back and in the book daily devotions he tells in the book him helping other people with similar experiences with the persons family member or even themselves. This book inspires me to think outside the box. I rate this book a four out of five stars because some stories I don't think was needed in the book but otherwise it was a really great book.
I really liked it when I started reading it, though as I got further along it seemed as if Piper started to contradict himself. I definately got some great joy out of many of the readings and hoped I would continue reading it. Maybe at a later time...
