I found the story dragged here after the battle with the piano robot and THB.

HR Watson is the daughter of the operator of Watson Robot that creates the automatons that are hugely important to life on terraformed Mars. She's left in the care of the robot Augustus and has a small pill, the THB, that when placed in water turns into a 7 foot bodyguard.

HR dropped THB into a cold water duct in her bathroom when attacked by a robot. Now a second, larger grand-piano shaped robot is after her.

--They defeat the robot by dumping water on THB. They are visited by a man who explains he has nothing to do with the killer piano. But he tries to grab THB when it goes back to pill form and a dozen of his men rush the room. HR escapes with Augustus.

There's two other short stories that I didn't quite understand the point of.

At first I was all, "Huh?" but now I think this is kind of the greatest one. Let me prove it.

BOOKNOTES

NACHTMUSIK: HR and her robot servant Augustus lament losing THB down the bathroom grate. Meanwhile, Agent Steinway has come to life, and begins chasing HR all around the house. Augustus manages to pour water on THB, bringing him to life as well, and THB gives Steinway a good thrashing.

Commander Willem arrives, demonstrating no idea about what's gone on. THB defends HR from Willem until he dries out and disappears, at which point Willem and HR fight for THB's pill form. Willem gets THB but HR takes Willem's glass eye.

Willem's Bugface soldiers swarm the townhouse, but HR activates her anti-grav vest and flies herself and Augustus through the skylight, leaving THB in the possession of Willem.

MCHAINE IN THE TOILET: McHaine seems to be ritualistically beating up every man who comes into the Hall of Justice's bathroom, while Skrimshaw meets with his superior.

Somewhere in V-City, HR hides out and awaits the opening of the Tick-Tock Club. Skrimshaw disappoints his superior with the news that HR has evaded capture.
