45. The pajama girl mystery.. I’d been wanting to read this for a while and it made me sad to read the investigation was kinda dodgy. Murdered.. put in a bag.. thrown in a ditch then set alight.. what a horrific way to die! Find it incredibly hard reading stories like these as it’s an awful reminder that the world is not always a nice place. 😕

Enjoyable. There's no mystery about the corruption in the NSW Police force back then.

A well written and thorough revisit to a pervasive Australian mystery. Actively avoids sensationalism & questions almost everything about the case.

An interesting read, but it needed a conclusion. Felt like you had read a whole book that told you no more than it had in the first quarter.

An excellent read, tracing the history of the Pyjama Girl from its sordid and ugly beginning to its fairytale ending. A dreadful story, wonderfully and engrossingly told. I can't recommend this one highly enough.
