I enjoyed the flow of the text, the reading was informative but simplistic. Throughout the story information was given about how snow forms and how much fun you can have in it. The story was a good mixture of factual information and fun experiences. I would recommend this book to other professionals. In the classroom I would use this book for a lesson on Winter weather. The students could draw pictures and explain what their favorite thing is to do during winter

This non-fiction book has lots of great information about snowflakes presented in a way that young children can understand. My only issue with the book is that there are three named males in the narrative and only one female with no name- they just call her "mom".
