David Taylor
129 books9 followersDavid Conrad Taylor, BVMS, FRCVS, FZS, was a British veterinary surgeon. He was the first veterinary surgeon to specialise in zoo and wildlife medicine. Taylor worked with zoo and wild animals from 1957, acting as a consultant on the treatment of some of the rarest species on Earth. He was world-renowned as an expert in marine mammal medicine.
In the mid-1970s and early 1980s, Taylor wrote a popular series of autobiographical books that charted his life and experiences as a "Zoo Vet". These books were adapted for Television in a drama series, One by One. He continued to be a prolific writer until his death. [wikipedia]

Ad agosto ho adottato la piccola Kitty, una trovatella abbandonata pochi giorni dopo la nascita.
Io ho sempre amato i gatti e sono cresciuta in mezzo ai randagi liberi, ma convivere con un animale domestico è tutt'altra cosa, quindi oltre a seguire i consigli delle amiche gattare e di altre persone sui gruppi di Facebook ho deciso di acquistare questo libricino per capire come rapportarmi al meglio con la mia figlia pelosa.
Nel testo sono presenti molte informazioni sia relative alla natura del gatto che su come fare per accoglierlo al meglio, nutrirlo, organizzare gli spazi, farlo abituare al trasportino... tutte molto utili.
È chiaro che è una guida "rapida" e che poi ogni micetto ha la sua storia ed il suo carattere, infatti i piccoli che non hanno avuto la mamma hanno diverse carenze nonché problemi comportamentali che non sono menzionati e che bisogna affrontare giorno per giorno come nel mio caso.

This is a good reference book. It explained alot of things about my kitten. I will be going back to it alot.
