This book covers it all: how to prepare, what to wear, how to follow up with style, how to face savvy interviewers and field tough questions with ease. Job Interviews That Get You Hired dispenses authoritative advice on networking to advance the job search; researching companies before the interview; the ten success factors most employers look for; the top 25 interview mistakes; how to handle group, panel, case, and recruiter interviews; the ten tough questions interviewers ask; the smartest questions an interviewee can ask; and how to negotiate the best deal.
Possibly only 1 star, even. The lead-in, listing newspaper classified ads first of the possible options for finding openings should have been a clue, but even ignoring that, most of the advice given probably was never correct. There might have been some useful points, but I gave up half-way, after my eyes started hurting from the involuntary eye-rolls.
