Graham has a secret. He's not willing to tell anyone he knows about the strange dreams he's been having, dreams that keep him up at night, dreams that make him want...want more than he's ever had before. He won't tell anyone--but he'll blog about it. Sharing his deepest, most secret fantasies on the Cyber Confessional website results in something Graham never expected: his dreams start coming true, in disturbing detail. As his fantasies come to life, will Graham keep participating--or will he be scared off by the magnitude of what he wished for?

This is in the Games People Play line at Torquere Press which deals with sexual games people play. In this particular offering, the author focuses on the BDSM and online games both Graham and his mystery man indulge in as fantasies come true for both men. The story is a playful and entertaining tale as Graham indulges in a secret fantasy while he and the reader try to figure out the identity of the mystery man. As a quick read with lots of easy dialogue, ISP is fun for those who like a little BDSM kink to their sex and enjoy the thrill of a few sexy games.
The plot is well done with enough clues to guess the identity of the mystery man ahead of time while still easily riding along on Graham’s journey with his nervous anticipation and clueless knowledge. While not all the details may be exactly correct, it doesn’t take away from the lively ride with witty dialogue, kinky sex, and enjoyable characters. The ending was satisfying as both a romance and a new beginning for Graham’s deepest fantasies without making any part of the story too heavy. The BDSM scenes within are more based on dominance and submission with commands and light sex without anything very serious or heavy to turn away readers. Just the right light touch to add spice to the sexy story.
Graham is an amusing character as he sends his wish to be dominated out into the vast online black hole never expecting someone to actually read the fantasy and want to help make it come true. From his shy, awkward dreaming to sudden nervous anticipation and determined actions, he is a contradiction yet easily understandable. Although his age is never explicitly stated, sometimes he acts like an older, sheltered man and other times as an uncertain, younger man. He shows depth with his decisions as he doesn’t blindly leap into the offer without considering consequences and his own safety, which is refreshing even within a fantasy romance.
Although I figured out the identity of Graham’s mystery “Sir” early on, following Graham’s journey to enlightenment was an enjoyable and entertaining ride. The fast actions and fun writing kept this as an even shorter read than the length of the book implies. This book is perfect for an easy afternoon read, enjoyable and easy without a lot of angst, depth, or substance. If you enjoy the anonymity of online with a bit of BDSM kink, this will satisfy your romance needs.
I haven't read all the stories in the Games People Play line by Torquere Press, but I have to say that the ones I read are really good. Like this one by C.B. Potts, about the secret fantasies of Graham: he wants to find the perfect domineering partner (who doesn't want it?), but Graham is pretty vanilla, and his fantasies are not hard core or similar. He is a bit like me, I don't mind to fantasize, but probably I would be scared if my fantasies lead to a dangerous path.
Graham is also quite lucky, he logs on a social network site where you can write your secret fantasies, and share comments with other users. When Graham writes his first fantasy, to be mastered by a strong and unknown man, he has his wish granted the same night. It's pretty obvious that Graham was immediately spotted and targeted, but as I said, he is lucky, since the mysterious man pushes him only till certain edge, without really causing him any trouble. Truth be told, Graham is not playing safe, following a stranger in dark alleys and allowing him to enter his house, all of that without even knowing his face, but still, I never felt as Graham was really in danger, this mysterious man always felt safe to me.
I like Graham, he is this mix of nerd and twink, he still has not the courage to display his real self, but he is daring enough to experiment. And when gently pushed toward the right direction, he is eager to follow. And the level of sex in the story is a bit like him: sensual but not all in display, maintaining a bit of secrecy that I like.
I often said that I'm not into too much BDSM and similar, but this novella has the right amount of it for me; some mild blindfold play, a little spanking here and there, and a bit of public display of affection, but never too much. The games remain between the two men, and I prefer the things like that; this story is right for whom likes the sex a bit naughty and kinky, but not too extreme.
